Well I am 1-0 when attending Rockets games this year. I am going tonight, can't argue with the facts.

Rockets will win, Memphis' team chemistry is in shambles (I hope) with the recent trade.

steve is not the reason we lose to sucky teams. he usually looks like the only one NOT going through the motions against crappy teams. he may play out of control and what not but he always plays hard. cat too. that's the one thing i don't worry about from them. it's everyone else coming to play i worry about.

and Sane, did you say we might gain an edge b/c of moochie:eek: . moochie has been plain horrific this year and i count the seconds until he leaves the game when he comes in. and he makes steve look like he belongs on the all-defensive team. oh and he can't score on his own. there is nothing to be gained from moochie playing more.

and need anybody be reminded of our 2-23 record w/o steve last year?? 2 and friggin 23. maybe today will be one of those two, but i'm not counting on it if he doesn't play.

I didn't mean it the way you guys thought I meant it. When we play weaker teams, I get the feeling Francis assumes that he can win it on his own. Meaning, he works even harder for the win, but he makes it harder than it should be.

We wouldnt be able to beat Visible Changes University without Francis.

Francis is a very good player. Moochie Norris his backup is one of the worst players in the NBA.

The combination is terrifying considering the PG directs the flow of offense and touches the ball more than anyone else on the team.

It's not. We are coming off an overtime game and Mike D. is questionable due to an ab strain. It should be a competitive game but if Francis does not play we should win.

Rockets win by 28. Maybe 40. They are going to slaughter Memphis. It may be the most lopsided game of the season, any team. I could go into all of my statistical studies, my how's and why's but I don't wanna. Trust me. Everyone who is wishy-washy about this game go into it with a calm casualness that Mavericks fans had last night. We are going to MURDER Memphis. My actual prediction:

    Rockets: 131
    Memphis: 84

There you have it. 47 point spread.

I will watch with interest, to see if this loss will get Rudy fired, or his players to turn on him. I see a serious, severe outcoaching tonight. Grizz will adjust, Rox will go deer in headlights - scamper scamper T/O, foul, dribble dribble cross cross threedefenders clank. Will Miller play? If so, we are dead dead dead.

    Grizz 175
    Rox 2

    ok, after hangover dissipates,

    Grizz 92
    Rox 85

    MemphisX,

You really are the optimist aren't you?

Still can't stop Yao Ming or Cuttino Mobley, even with Francis out.

No Yao, no Taylor, no Rice, EG was a rook, Mobley played with 2 bad ankles and TMo is much improved . Entirely different scenario this year than last.

Memphis plays hard and are well-coached. They usually don't get blown out actually and play teams tight. They were in a tough OT game last night with Charlotte.

With that said, the Rockets are going to blow them out.

If we win and Phoenix loses to Minnesota tommorow. We'll only be a half game back and tied in the loss column. We're at home and Phoenix is away. We better win this one.

KG should be pumped playing against Marbury and Amare too considering the personal probs with Marbury and the fact that Amare went off last time the teams met.

I agree and consequently have a bad, bad feeling about this game. Jason Williams has a history of baiting Francis into making it a "personal" contest and detracting from Rocket team play...still a concept in its infancy. Plus Hubie has JDubb playing under alot more control.

IMO, the key matchup is Cat vs Wesley Person. I'm getting out my flame-r****dant suit, but I think Mike Miller will torch Glen Rice.

If the Rockets lose this one, Clutch will need a "Fire Rudy" sticky thread.

With or without Francis, the Rockets will lose.

Memphis takes the early 8-0 lead, and the Rockets never get closer than seven.

    Memphis: 100
    Rockets: 86

Hey, Looky! We have a PG and SG on the floor at the same time. Not TWO SG!

Someone please tell Yao that he's got a double-team coming from the weak side!
