Pardon me for my lapse in judgement...

Tonite's game has drained me of all my senses. I could use some dim sum right now.

    :p

Yes it's a joke. But it 's probably how Yao feel after tonight game. He was looking to his teammates who suppose to be the veterans to show him ( the rookie) how to play the game. Instead he found out that he probably need to teach them a few things about how to play the game correctly.

Please separate the three. They cannot play together.

Yao is the only one who has a brain on that team. The rest of them need to sign up for the next rendition of "The Wizard of Oz" and audition for the part of the Scarecrow. Too bad that they need only one and not 11.:(

One thing Rudy should have done in Clipper Game.

    Playing twin towers.
Cato has size to stop Brand and get RB.
Yao could help us at offense end.
No rule is against putting two center on
    the court.

    Am I right?

cato wouldnt be able to guard brand away from the basket. brand would fly by cato, either getting fouled be cato or yao, and spend all day at the line. kenny thomas would have neen great for this game.

Hell yes he should have done this.

At least Cato would have stopped all that offensive rebounding.

Cato would have been great at guarding Brand.

Of course, asking Rudy to think abstractly is like explaining basketball to a 3 year old.

It happen before (either last season or the season before that). I think the last time it happen Steve made the shot.
There won't be any spanking. We don't know what happen but there is a possibility that he didn't hear Rudy call for time out. Let give him the benefit of the doubt. Bill and Calvin was making the same comment about Rudy call for time out and Steve was ignoring it. They said Steve must not hear Rudy asking for time out.

I got so upset seeing Brand got everything they needed.
Beside of this idea, what we should have done then?
Simply no solution? Trading talk is just unrealistic.

ok I just came home from the game and here are my point of views:

    1. What is the deal with Glen Rice getting the ball? I can understand he had an undersized man guarding him, but did he score on EVERY basket? At the most, he scored twice in a row and thats it. There was even one instance where Yao was on the OUTSIDE PASSING THE BALL IN TO RICE???? Isnt that suppose to be the other way around? By the time Rudy thought it was time to get Yao in the inside, we were down by 12 with 5mins to go in the game. A little late for that I say.

    2. They went back to man to man defense. Where was the zone? We "had" one of the best defensive teams in the league and they were driving it inside with no problem. I would have rather have them shooting the outside shot.

    3. Lisa Ling is HOT. She was at the game interviewing the Yao Ming club. Damn, she looks good in person :)

That is the only positive thing I can say about the game, that and also, I paid $10 seats in which I managed to move about 10 ft away from the Clippers bench :). I just hope this is temporary and they will be playing better ball when i got back on Wed vs. the Pacers.

    This is so depressing.

I come home from my very last final for the semester, with all acedemic pressure for many weeks relieved, ecstatic that I'd be going home soon, and I see this pitiful final score.

I'm horribly disappointed, but my hopes have been crushed this much before... after that loss to the Blazers earlier on, and we bounced back. I hope it happens again VERY soon... :(

Yesterday I was angry, today I'm just sad cuz it looked like we never really stood a chance.

Doesn't get any better than these two statements.

I said in another thread that the Rockets were a KT and a Rice release from being a contender, then Steve pulls out this pathentic performance. The guy was missing layups all-night. Super star players are not supposed to do this. Mobley was hitting tonight either.

And I tell you this, If mobley isn't hitting is shots, he is worthless because instead of driving to the hoop, he wil continue to jack up bricks.

Also, forget the Rockets, how is T Mo even in the NBA?? I mean, Terence Morris is a piece of crap. This guy takes the worst jumpers I have ever seen. The guy does not use his legs, thus the high bricks every time he shoots., Plus he shows no passion. The Rockets seriously need to release him. HE SUCKS!!!!!

And here is an example od DaDakota's second statement.

Rudy opting for isolation plays in the waning moments of the Memphis game, instaed of using an inside out offense involving Yao Ming, which creates ball movement, but nooooooo, the Rockets can't do that. Rudy would rather see Francis travel twice in a row.

I've been a Rudy fan for a long time, and I still am, but he has got to go to Yao ming more often than he does. Of course, Yao will fail at times, but how else will he learn. Yao needs to be the man.

Like Jordan once said, "I've failed many times in my life, that is why I succeed."

Bill Walton will address all the problems of rox next wednesday on national television. It is better to bring all the issues on the table and deal with it. I do not understand why some fans keep saying No Calling Out Players for a team's loss when they really are responsable for that loss (Not always of course). Those fans worrying about the chemistry among fans? Come on, if fans do not speak the truth, who else?

You know, bben, I don't think I've ever seen a peep out of you after a win... maybe I'm wrong, but it sure doesn't feel like it.

Here's something that jumps out from the box scores: Hawkins got a total of 10 minutes PT in the last two games -- two games in which our bad defense was directly responsible for losses.

Where was Hawkins Friday when Williams and Person were going nuts? Where was he Saturday when Miller and Brand went off?

Rice gets *40* minutes on Friday and Hawkins gets *ZERO*? No wonder there were defensive problems.

Sometimes Rudy is a real-life bobblehead.
