What makes you think that the Sonics will win, the fact that they're playing at Utah or that they've lost 5 in a row? (including at home last night to Cleveland)

Lots of threes tonight. Including the C's Texas Triangle of Doom.

With Eddie, MoT and Rice out for tonight's game, Steve, Cat and Yao have to score bunch for us to win the game. I hope that Rudy will put Posey on Pierce to get him from going crazy.
But, hehe, when you think that it is a tough game for the Rox,
they somehow give a sweet surprise to you.

Pierce will be hard to contain. I saw him over the summer playing in the pickup games in the UCLA men's gym and he was unstoppable on the drive and from the perimeter. Despite the large number of Pro's and big name college players there, he was the one who had the most obvious "X" factor - the man has incredible game!!

Definitely put Posey on Pierce and hope that Eddie can play so we have an answer for Walker. I dont think we have a player that can match up with Employee #8 if EG and Mo are out, Cato? Anyway, Rockets win 97-87. Francis and Mobley go off for a lot and Yao dominates the boards.

The combination of Hawk and Posey should limit Pierce's effectiveness. I'm more concerned with Walker lighting us up.

I remember last year I witnessed Pierce scored 46 of his 48pts all in the 2nd half in New Jersey and single handedly won the game for the Celts. Bryon Scott basically put all five guys on him but it didn't matter. It's unbelievable. Hope his shooting is off for a full 48 tonight.

Go to Yao Ming each and every time down the offensive end. Nerver start a peremiter shooting contest with Celtics. Celtics is very much like the Knics expcet that their shooting is better but interior is worse. Points in the paint is the key to win for Rox.

EG is doubtful for tonights game. TMo is expected to take his place in the starting line up.

THank god Yao is not injured. I for one am happy that Posey is taking RIce's spot in the starting line up and perhaps even for the next few days. I agree that Posey is the best player on the Rocks sqaud to stick on Pierce.
....PLAY BOKI TONIGHT...atlest a min worth or something...
I say this because the guy can shoot. I remember reading about how he would shoot flawlessly hitting like 18 in a row with out a miss in practice. The rockets have been plauged with horrendous shooting. they need to get some fresh shooters out there and give them a chance to prove themselves.

..also...not that this will help win a championship but the poor guy is having to pay his former team the rest of his contract with them and yet he is not getting any play time.
not even garbage time...which the rockets have not had alot of this season...
    Go rocks.

Tonight is not the night to rely on the zone. We need to get up in the face of Pierec and Walker. Also, beware of Delk and Shammond Williams. They're due for a new "career high" against a Rockets D that likes to help pad scrubs' stats. That being said, I think we'll be ready to play tonight and win in the 4th.

I also hope that Rudy gives some solid PT to Boki tonight. With the injury to Rice, please give the kid a chance to prove himself.

Amen! lets see Boki. I hate it when I hear Rudy refer to him as "next year's number one draft choice", instead of giving him a chance for this season. It makes me sick. Rudy just might find that Boki is a selfless team player that plays smart, which is what the Rockets need. Boki has to be a better defender than Rice, today.

    Francis
    Posey
    Boki
    Griffin
    Yao

Thats the starters I want. Bring trigger happy Mobley off the bench. Lets kick it old school with a big lineup and see how teams can handle that.

Hello everyone ! Tonight I think the Rockets will come out sluggish early, but after being down by around 10 points they'll wake up and come back and beat the Celtics. As long as Posey/Mobley can keep Paul Pierce from driving to the basket and getting all of those damn free throws we can win.

I think we get blown out if MT and EG are out and we go to the supersmall ball lineup, and we make a furious comeback in the fourth with wild ass shots from the SF/Cat isos and fall short.
