I was watching Bulls-Cavs 85 on ESPN classic and watching the offensive performance of World B Free and it reminded me of Franchise.
They both make (made) most of their points by earning trips to the stripe.
Here's to the excellent use of the free throw, which would enable the Rockets to gut out a first round victory in the Play Offs.
That and a huge Wall named Yao.

Did anyone watch this game on WGN? Why does the guy doing the color commentary sound so weak? He sounds like he's 80 and he's doing a golf game or something. I think i can whisper louder than he sounded during the game. Maybe he was just bored because the bulls were dead since the opening tip...

Thank you Rockets for a most entertaining Game! It was great to feel so satisfied at the games end, and not to have to go to my computer and unload all my frustrations on the BBS. Thank You!

23 pts on 5 freakin' shots!!! would haven never known that if it wasn't brought up. obviously free throws come into play but that's one hell of an odd occurrence. to make all your shots (including some 3's) while being fouled on a lot of others. good ol' 4.6 pps.

this game did some serious good to take away from the pain of UT losing. bastards at tt essentially all played the game of their lives while we had jt/ivey/boddicker/mouton throwing up bricks from everywhere and the refs never ever giving our big men free throws while getting hacked. some loser with 3 ppg hits 7 3's, #55 hits every jumper he takes, emmit hits everything he takes, powell has a triple double, come on. analysts keep saying we'll get the #1 seed regardless.

oh did i just go on a little tangent/vent, sorry.

man this was a sweet win. with spring break over, i'll have to go back to league pass, who knows how long it'll be before i get to hear bill and calvin again. 3-0 this week with bill and calvin. had a winning record over winter break too. we need more bill and calvin to get to the playoffs!!

I had to watch it both times on Channel 51! You cannot tear this smile from my face. At least not until Sunday! If we play this good on Sunday.....1st game 'playoff party' grocery list: beer, peanuts, buffallo wings, beer, sausage, hamburgers, beer, ribs, beans, rice, tabasco. Oh, don't get me so excited. Go ROCKETS! :D

Has anyone else noticed (and I hope it's not just a 6 or 7 game fluke) that Francis has been racking up the assists, and maintaining a VERY solid FG% with somewhat more limited attempts? Good work, Stevie. Please destroy Phoenix.

Yao Ming's postgame quote from NBA dot com:

"I think our offense was pretty normal today, actually. We were able to push the ball. I think the primary reason we were able to win by so many points was because of our defense...

uh oh, I guess that means once the Rox really get their O goin' the rest of the NBA better watch the F out!
