Yeah, they probably don't care about stats that much, but I DO! I need something to brag about at school!:)

I just now got on the thread, so hope I'm not repeating an answer, the Yao's pass was an identical "behind the head, two-handed, backwards pass" to a cutting Cuttino Mobley for an easy dunk.

Following the replay, Bill said that "Yao seems to enjoy doing that" and Calvin replied "Of course he enjoys it. All of the great ones enjoy providing entertainment as well as playing good fundamental basketball."

I saw that 18-footer. Yao is screening at highpost when he got the ball (forgot from whom). Everybody expected Yao to either pass the ball or drive to the basket, so they just left him wide open just outside the paint. Yao took a look, nobody guarding him, just took a shot (not even a jumper), nothing but net. Obvious the Bucks forgot Yao's finesse and range! :D

The next recipientwill be anyone that passes the entry pass into Yao and continues past him to the hoop... he is so accurate with that pass that its seems darn near unstoppable... yet if the defense keys on the cutter Yao can make them pay with the Shanghai Shake. Or if weakside help comes across Yao can pass over the top to the weakside wing (like Rice) for an open 3pter.

    Welcome to Houston Rockets basketball...

I thought Yao play a good games tonight. He is not the focus of the offense so it's pretty good that he put up 16 points on 6 for 9 shootings. He collect 8 rebounds in 27 minutes. One thing I noticed that Yao doesn't fight his own teammate for the rebound to pat his stats. But I agree that Yao may be should grab the rebound instead of trying to tip it to himself. I guess he used to tip the rebound to himself in the past because he is much taller than his opponent. But he need to realize that in the NBA the players are much more aggressive in going after the ball. If you tip the ball they will knock it away from you. I am sure he will learn to grabv those rebound more forecefully as he gain some strength in his upper body. He also show some skills like behind the back dribble and hitting an 18 footers. Overall a good win for the Rockets even though the Bucks is shorthanded and tired. But we need all the win we can get to get into the playoff. Happy New Year.

Just on a side note, Cat has been pounded unmercifully on the BBS for the last few days especially, even after his huge performance against New Orleans, and even when Cat said in the paper that he would adjust his game to help the team people twisted it around to rip him. Well he adjusts his game, has a big game agaisnt New Orleans and follows taht up with a huge game tonight, scoring 21 points off of 57% shooting, 3 rebounds and 2 assist. Not bad at all. Cato came off the bench to give the Rockets 9 points, 8 boards, 4 blocks. The best back-up center in the NBA and could start for many teams Cato. We have a great bench. Posey even produced in limited minutes, 22 minutes 7 points 5 rebounds and an assist. Give him about 30 minutes and he could probably give the Rockets 12 points and about 5 to 6 rebounds and a couple of steals per game off the bench. This Rockets team is deep and versatile!
