It was my fault we lost last night, I didn't stay home and watch it live. I decided to go hoop.

I have a special place I sit and a little routine I do and they went 2-0 versus Philly and Orlando. I will be watching the game tonight vs Utah and we will win. I promise! ;)

I give the team an A for effort on the defensive end. A big fat F for execution on offense, especially Yao and Francis for playing like garbage. As the focal points on offense it’s up to them to set the tone on offense. Everybody else feeds off them. When both of them play like they did yesterday, there’s no chance of the team winning. Imagine if Shaq/Kobe or Dirk/Nash had games as badly as Yao/Francis did, their team’s offense would look like crap too.

An inexcusable performance from a "team" supposedly in the midst of a playoff race. This group is truly a pathetic basketball team. They are in no way a playoff caliber team. Big changes better be forthcoming in this offseason or you will be able to hear a pin drop in the new stadium. If I were Les Alexander, I would be very very concerned. Laying an egg at a very important HOME game is unforgivable.

May I add: whilst YM, SF and the red-hot JP were being benched CM was still playing - he played 21 minutes in the first half and has no points. His first basket was at 4 minutes of the second half.

Let's review the recent 13 games since Larry Smith take over the Coach's job.
March 19, we beat Phoenix at home, 5 win strike, 3-1 against Phoenix for tie-break, 2 games ahead phoneix. We were planing for a 3-W 5 games west road trip, and we think 4 out of next 7 (including home game against LA and SA) would make Rox in good position for playoff run.
Then we lost 2 no-competition games to SEA and POR, yao's minutes reduced, no scores, no rebound (Rox explanation: Rudy's illness, Cato plays much better, so he deserve more minutes)
Next we beat GS, yao got his first 3 pointer, DD again. Actually it was a tied game until late in the 4th.
Next one, we lose to SAC by 1 point, Yao 19 rebound, I do not exactly remember what happened, but the whole games looks like we could steal this one. Playoff level competition.
Mar 24, hot Possy, easy won at LAC.
Mar 26, Yao-Shaq II, Yao struggling, outplayed by Shaq. But we lead most of the game, we play very good in first quater when Yao drew Shaq outside, good ball movement and a lot assistants. Later, Cato's Flequnt Faul. Shaq's 4 point play.
Next one in SA, no competition.
So, we end up 2 - 5 on this 7 games.
Next we beat Denver, lost to New Jersey, Millaukee, it seems Yao play better in those 2 loses, but somehow we played Moochie a lot, when he is on the courts, we just sucks.
We got big help from Iverson's 14 misses, and Retro Jersey to won 2 should losing games, with Lakers's OT win against Sun, we are somehow only half game behind Sun.
Now we lose this game, which we could put away in the second quater, it turns to be the worst of team history.
For all these games, only SAC game we were playing at a high intensive level. All other games we are playing worse than without coach level. That means the coach was doing a job helping other teams.
If you watch how Laker was playing lately. They beat Dallas twice, they beat Memphis after 23 point 4th quater comeback, they beat Phonix in OT after trailing by 5 in 4th with 1:30 min to go. How about Suns? They beat SA, POR, SAC, MIN, they fighting hard to last second to beat MEM, they lost a OT to LA, they beat DET at Detroit by 3. Of course they lost to Dallas, Indiana, GS, SEA. But it was not they give up. They did very very well on their very tough schedules. Every game they play at a playoff intensity. But Rox, looks like they are play like a lottory team, and they are finding the only way to stay as a lottory level.
I thought we do not 1st round pick next year. I hope they can pick a lottory on Coach.

Is 66 the lowest that the Rockets have ever scored?

Bad sign also when Yao misses two free-throws off the bat.

Also, I see the refs aren't going to be calling any fouls and Griffin and Posey aren't going to hit any open jumpers.

Hope the Rockets play better than this.

BTW, I think Yao has been taken out too early.
