All Rox players (except Rice) are young and are capable of playing 40+ minutes. Therefore whoever is hot should continue playing to blow the game open. On the one hand, we've JP (15 points) replaced and sat on the bench for more than 8 minutes. On the other, we've CM (0 points) playing 21 of the 24 minutes. What the hell is the coaching doing? Does he want to lose this game? This is sick.

They just posted a very interesting stat -

When the Rockets are trailing at half time :

    9 Wins 27 Losses

    Winning % of 25.7

Let's hope they buck the trend tonight!

    Stoke:

I just don't think Smith believes in Yao quite as much as Rudy did. Remember the five game streak? The strategy was to run 30 plays a game for Yao. Ever since LS took over he hasn't gotten near 30 in any game.

In fairness, the fact that these games are crucial also means we can't afford to wear him out. If we play him 40mpg he'll be a wreck by the end of the season. Gotta find a balance there.

But there is NO excuse to play extended minutes with Cato and Griffin as the frontcourt when we've got Mo and Yao. I mean, lot of good it did us last year, right?

What? CM starts the 3rd quarter. Still no points and has improved to 0-7 from 0-5. A very consistent player who wins the favor of that Ass coach.

Whatever to that. He's played two straight years. He'd play every minute the coach let him play. Coach is looking out for an asset by resting him. What's inexcusable is playing him and not getting him the ball.

    What's wrong with their shooting?

    Painful.

2/10 for Yao, 3/11 for Francis,0/7 for Mobley

Nothing can be worse than that.

What ever happened to the Rox regular Game? Yao Ming is all over the place and the Guards are not setting up their shooters. Its all selfish play. The Coach needed to lash the team at half time. If he did he had no effect. of couse it could be Larry and the way he wants them to play!!

This team deserves to be broken up.
