Don't mention KT's height. HP looooves players with height disadvantage. Back to the topic. KT being able to play the 3 well is obviously good news. The problem is, the 3 position is as crowded as the 4. Assuming Rice can play strong, with Nachbar as the future and performing well in camp, together with an improving TMo, where is KT going to find PT at the 3? I personally like KT and hate to see him go, but looks like the management is going to keep MoT. KT having the added versitility at the 3 can only mean a better trade value.
Glad to hear KT making switch (or is addition a better word here) to playing the small forward is going well. I don't know the motion offense well, but it sounds like Kenny would fit as a three much better in a motion offense than the previous offense.
If Kenny works out at the SF spot, he gets minutes ahead of Nachbar. We like to pencil in our favorites for longterm starters for bigtime minutes immediately, if not the starting jobs, but I just don't see Rudy giving Nachbar the nod over K9 if Kenny can play the position in our offense. Why? Because Kenny is more senior, more experienced and more than likely will be consistently more productive than Nachbar the entire year. Don't get me wrong; I'm very excited about Nachbar, but what's the hurry? With the depth we have, we don't need Nachbar to develop right away (unlike Yao). And he's signed longterm.
One thing we should all take into account is that different things are true at different times. Maybe MoT was b!tch-slapping KT at practice, maybe; but maybe KT was under the weather? And vice versa. Or maybe the "source" exaggerated slightly, or was already repeating what someone else has said. Doesn't matter. I'm glad Clutch got an interview from such a close-mouthed source. Hopefully KT will find a place on the team.
