A cc.net team wouldn't be too bad, but don't we have to make a roster? The thing I don't like about that is it limits how many people can play.

Is there a reason GutterSnipe? Did you move, or did we cause too much of a problem last time?

I think his apartments didn't care for all of the traffic, or someone else abused it?

Count me out if it out there. It's so much easier to go into town between 6-8 then it is to go out of town. A central area near the loop will get more participation IMHO. I have no desire to drive from 15 miles south of Pearland to 20 miles north of Houston on a weeknight. On a weekend I might be game once in a while though.

On the other hand I might just make the drive to try some squirrel.

Can I make the assumption that this is not going to happen? Is anyone interested in creating a team to join a Thursday night league like heypartner was talking about?

I'd still like to play but I'm not up to league standards... unless we play in the extreemly out of shape league.

I live in Northwest Houston and every Saturday and Sunday during the day the 24 Hour Super sport on Hwy 249 and Loetta is empty. You just have to be a 24hr Fitness member or its $10 to get it.

But its a great place to play half court or full court 5 on 5 which I prefer. I've played every day for the last week for a few hours each day and my body is sore!! But to crossover someone for dissing one of my posts, i'd do it today!

I don't think we would need a specific 'organized' and held court league, just a place to go to play and whoever shows up, shows up. I think the whole getting the court thing is complicating the matter.

Maybe you guys are just scared to play me!

I have a 24 hour sport fitness membership. This might be something to look into. Maybe we could find one that is close to the loop so it is a more central location. I know there is one near 610 in the Meyerland area.

Aren't memberships to 24 Hour Fitness like $200?

EDIT: 24 Hour Sport Fitness? is this a different chain?

I am down with F.D. Khan's idea. I live around that area, and it's not too far to drive.

Has anyone tried calling this indoor court off of Clay and highway 6 across Bear Creek Park?? It's actually an indoor soccer joint with 2 full courts in there as well. I know on Sundays, this one guy used to rent it out for his league team (Filipino League) and they have an open gym on Tuesdays. I think the other nights they are open but someone will need to inquire. If Jeff, Heypartner or anyone else knows the gym I'm talking about let me know. If people are interested, I'll try to get ahold of them myself.
