Not always a fan of bumping old threads, but kudos to Plowman for bumping it in 2016, and to you (FTW) for bumping it again. Great ClutchFans history! Dr of Dunk is the man! (OK, Clutch is, ha ha, but kudos to the doctor anyway).

So awesome to relive the history of this amazing site. @Clutch is the GOAT!

 

I just gave 3 guys from the past their first 'likes'. Nomar, Timing and one other, maybe it was Exile. I'm like the king of Necro Post Liking. Some of you old schooler know it because likes show up in your inbox from WTF? When was that?

 

I see you've been spending you spare time reminiscing through the Image v2 thread. When finished, are you going to do the v1 thread next?

 

And I laugh at those dudes who came in here pounding their chests saying CFans had fallen off and such and such was better 'cuz moar bizquitball talk'

We are in the Matrix of fansites and Clutch is the architect. Everyone else is just trying to catch up.

The old days were GREAT. Don't underestimate that, but the new wave is rocking hard. Lovin' cfans these days. So few OFs right now. Just trolls but @Clutch did us a solid by allowing us to block those that don't belong. It's fantastic! The troll goalies can't do enough to ruin it for us!!!

 

This reminds me: There was a time when every Dec or Jan someone would start a thread in Feedback about how the GARM has fallen off. One year, Clutch actually responded with a link to every yearly version of that same gripe....with an awesome, rebuttal commentary.

Here, Overall quality of the BBS with Clutch linking to every "BBS is not as good anymore" thread a few posts down....one after another, every year ... lulz ... a classic Clutch RAWR moment, imo.

Bumping classic Feedback threads in underrated.

Actually not. I know you're joking, but just in case you weren't. It got better every year. '99 to '00 was no different. That was Clutch's take as well, in the Feedback thread I linked to.

I do have to say that after SI actually published "The Dirty Game" I have no respect for them... they are no better than a tabloid if they are willing to publish something that accusatory with literally no evidence.
