Yeah, I had a good time as well. Maybe we can do it again sometime, but somewhere else so those of us who aren't students don't have to pay $6 every time. Rocketeer was there? I must have seen him because I was out there with you guys, but I never really got introduced. Reveal yourself! Oh yeah, sorry for picking up Shaq Jr. If I had known he would have turned out to be such a pain I would have told him (under my breath) to take a walk (after he is walking away because I tell him I don't speak English). I just couldn't resist picking up a guy that big. It was fun.
Sorry, I didn't get there til 3 PM. I didn't see any of you guys, but then again, I wasn't really looking. I played about 3 games I think. In the third game I took a knee to the temple when I faked some guy off his feet and then drove in on him, unfortunately his knee played some killer d, on my face. I had to leave after that, partly because I had a killer headache, and partly because the staff didn't want me to play anymore. And now for some ice and tyelonol.
The guy that was playing with us at the end or the guy in the bright orange ball cap that played towards the beginning?
Guy in the Orange cap was a UH guy I guess. He was the bigger guy, backwards cap. I think it was Nike he was wearing.
Dang, I'm sorry I didn't take the chance to formally introduce myself. I wanted to give him props in person on the kickass job he does on those Rockets wallpaper graphics.
5 8 from NOOOOOOORTH Caro...WEST Houston... KAM. And I am 130 lbs. Anyhoo. I sucked. About .75 points per game. I had a few rebounds here and there. Rockets Red Glare just kept abusing this one guy. They would throw it into RRG, and he would post that guy up, and he kept turning around and making it. I was like damn, so I had to guard RRG, and he started missing. Intimidation. Everybody hit their shots. I would love to play there again. That facility is freaking nice. Lots and lots of courts to play on. Sonny can jump pretty high too.
Not enough room. There were too many bodies around. When games were over, people were shooting around, and I tried to dunk it. I went up, and the ball just hit the rim. I looked pretty foolish, but I got up there with the ball.
I wish I coulda made it. My excuse: 1. sprained or jammed my thumb really bad on Friday Night. 2. legs and arm were really sore from the whole week. 3. had to take my sis to work, so it would take me awhile to find the U of H facility. can we throw another one soon?
i forgot to add.. vertical? (estimated) good lord kam 5'8" and dunkin? that's about, what, a 40" vertical?
more like 25, or 30 or something. I cannot dunk dunk, but I can bring the ball to the rim, and get rejected by the rim. A volleyball, I could probably dunk. I think it is long arms.
You got some hops! Im 5-10 and I can grab rim on a good day. But i'm working on Air Alert 3 and its a good workout. Hopefully I can actually dunk one of these days
I'm a little taller 5-11 and weigh a LOT (217lbs) more, but I can HOP. I can put down a volleyball, the hardest thing about a real ball is palming it, I lose it on the way up half the time. I can dunk 9"6 fine, just 6 more inches, I don't understand that short distance. I can grab the heck out of the 10ft rim, so close!
I have a 5'8" friend (yeah Tonaaay, I'm talking about Carns), who can dunk over much, much taller people. For example, me. I am dead serious this cat has about a 45" vertical, no exaggeration. I don't know about his bunnies now...he has broken his ankles many times. If yall throw another game I'ma roll up with him and my man Toonnnayyy and we are gonna wreck shop.
