Hopefully he Clutch is pulling our chains. I mean, why would he put shut down 10-31-03 to 12-01-03 for then? I think he is just updating the server and the site to make it all nice and stuff. At least, I hope that is what is happening. If this is not true then an hour + of my time time will have to be spent on something else.

why specify the ".net" when this site has .com history? why put (10-31-2003 until 12-01-2003) at the end of R.I.P. ClutchCity.net - 12/6/99 - 10/31/2003 in the subject? something is up....
I thought about that ".net" thing as well. We weathered the .com to .net switch, we can survive this one as well.
Im all for being optomistic, but IIRC, CLutch wasnt sayin it was "the end of the line" when we switched to .net We are toast.
This is terrible, terrible news. I feel like I have just been told a family member is dying. I spend so much time here that I feel like I know many of you personally. I dont post much but I am here on a daily basis. This board has been through many great and tough times in my life I have also experienced many of the ups and downs in your lives. I absolutely hate the thought of clutchcity not being on the web. I dont know what the problem is or what would need to be done to remedy the situation but I feel like we can do it. Because of this very site, and mostly Jeff, we were able to watch our HOUSTON ROCKETS kick some Denver ass last night in our big beautiful new arena. If people like you and me can save a professional basketball team and get a $202 Million arena built, why couldnt we SAVE OUR CLUTCHCITY.NET!!! If its the league, lets kick their ass. If its money, I will donate as much as I possibly can. If its help with the site, I am an IT professional that doesn't do **** all day. If you need help with articles or stats or anything else, I am willing to help with that too. I may not be as good as Clutch but I will try my hardest. Whatever it takes, I want to help fix it. Well, all good things must eventually come to an end, and if this is truly it, it was a nice run, one of the greatest ever. It certainly will be weird not checking up the site daily as I have been doing for the past 4 years... There's no way I can express my grattitude for Clutch and crew for all the enjoyement I got out of the site over the years. It was great guys, really. Let's hope that it can survive somehow. If it doesn't, thanks for the memories... it will be like losing a real close friend. Cheers.
Hey Clutch, this doesn't mean the secret forum is shutting down as well, does it? Isn't it hosted on a separate server, so it won't go down during heavy traffic?
