I'd be happy with either Rubio or Jennings, and probably would prefer Jennings slightly. Rubio's boom or bust - and his lack of explosiveness may be a problem in the NBA.

Weak draft. Teams losing money. Small markets.

What exactly do you think the #10 is worth? How many players will there be left in this draft when Milwaukee is on the clock that will have a better career than Landry?

I agree Martin and Hawes are a pipedream. Don't see Sacramento trading Martin, Hawes, or Thompson...........unless they are truly destitute and the Maloofs are getting out.

Landry makes 3 mil a year.

Morey is a numbers guy. Why trade a guy who produces like Landry, on such a cheap contract....for the #10 pick.......only to make another package for Rubio...................when the Kings would be jumping for joy if Rubio falls to #4. Why trade out and trade away a guy like Martin, when, they can stand pat and pair up Martin with Rubio.

Sure, times are rough economic wise, but go read around. Nobody is giving away players, or draft picks. Times aren't THAT bad.

Please don't use the Gasol trade as an example either. Apples. Oranges.

Bottom line period, to trade INTO the lottery, you're gonna have to package a draft pick (Rockets don't have one) or somebody better than Landry. I love Landry, but nobody trades a bench guy for the #10 overall pick. Economy be damned.

I say screw the getting a top draft pick cause it will hurt the chances of us getting Amare on the team. I say we just buy late 1st round pick and try to trade Tracy, Landry, Brooks, and Brent (if they want him too) for Amare and Richardson. Then with the late first round pick we bought, we draft a PG like Jeff Teague if he's available depending on what pick we have or Rodrigue Beaubois. Either guy would be great and could back-up Lowry or start for us later in the future.

I agree with this, but only if we can't get anything better (Kevin Martin).

haaaaaaaaa! you think Kevin Martin is greater than Amare and Richardson? there's a reason why the Kings are in the draft's top 5 and it cause there best player is Kevin freaky Martin. I don't know what people like so much about the guy. Just cause he can score points on a **** team doesn't mean he the next best thing. Plus the guy is a douche-bag. I wouldn't want him here.

I completely against getting a top 4-5 PG in the draft if we have to trade Tracy and Landry because they are the teams best trading pieces and I wouldn't want to lose that and take a risk on some rookie PG. I hope Morey does the right thing.

Doc Rocket alluded to Jennings as the PG we're after. Does anyone know anything about this kid? I saw a video that made my jaw drop.

Sounds like he took your sisters V-card. Martin fits our clubs needs better than Amare and Richardson. To go further, he fits our teams needs perfectly. What's not to like about a young go-to-guy, who can score from anywhere on the court, get to the FT line and scores at a highly effiecient rate? He's the prototypical guard we need next to Yao Ming. A slasher, pop and shoot, create his own shot, driver, creator for others. Douch-bag??? Sounds more like a stud to me.

I remember posting something like that. Jennings has great, unlimited potential at the PG spot but is sorta stupid. Rubio is one of the guys if not the guy that has the potential to be a complete bust cause if he doesn't play like he's said too he won't have great athleticism to fall back on + great shooting either and would be embarrassed in the NBA by quicker, faster, stronger players.

personally i havent seen enough of Rubio to pass any sort of (mediocre) assessment on him, I have seen a few Of Jennings games back when he was a senior in high school and he was impressive. I wonder what the year in Europe did for Jennings though mentally and as a player.

I would go with Jennings myself but thats because what little I have seen from Rubio is from the olympics this past year.

We have a guy that can do a lot of the things he does but doesn't play the minutes he gets. That guy is Von Wafer he's atleast proven that he fits the team. Also, wasn't there issuses between Martin and Artest when they were playing together in Sac-town kinda like the issues Tmac and Ron had early in the season? I think there was but Ron-Ron wouldn't admit it of course.

Also Richardson use to be a 20+ ppg scorer when he was playing for a **** team(Bobcats) before he was traded to the Suns. Richardson is way more athletic and stronger than Martin too with his string bean legs. His legs are even skinner than Tracy's. :D
