    Clutch Community has volunteered for our next "monthly event" at the Catholic Charities Agency for the "Food Fair 8/23 - Help Needed" charity on August 23rd (via the "Volunteer Houston - Get Connected" portal).

    The charity event will be located at:
    Guadalupe Center
    326 S. Jensen
    Houston, TX 77003

    BTW, here is a template of the t-shirts the team leader, my husband (Roc Paint) and I created for all the volunteers the who SHOW-UP to support our Clutch Community charity events (NOTE: your personal handle can be screen-printed on the back). These shirts will be available for hand-out FOC at our August event (as long as you reply early enough to have your handle added - if requested)! We have a various sizes available. When responding to myself or Roc Paint, please provide your shirt size and we will make every attempt to offer you the appropriate size based on our inventory.

    5. Mr. Clutch (please let me know if if you'll be in town for this!)
    6. finalsbound (please let me know if your available for this one!)
    7. Jeannie (potential 'outside ClutchFans' volunteer)
    8. Stacie (potential 'outside ClutchFans' volunteer)
    9. Roc Rouge (my loving and supportive wife)
    10. Roc Paint (obviously, I'll be there)

    We are merely asking for a partial-day commitment from our volunteers, once a month - that's it...and it DOESN'T have to be EVERY month either! It's whatever your schedule permits. Can you and are you willing to help us and our Houston Community? Baby steps...we are asking for nothing more than that.

    Why? :confused: *you don't have to answer, just wondering why* Lastly, you can block the alerts or give a work phone number where no texts can be sent.

    And, did you really have to announce that? There's no reason for the announcement.

    I just got off the phone with Sister Pauline, and she told me that everyone can sign up themselves by going to the link below and clicking the volunteer section for the date shown. That's good, because I didn't want anyone to be concerned about giving me any personal info.
    FYI...when you sign up, be sure to put that you are with the Clutch Community/Kevin.

    Dear Kevin,

    Thank you for your registration for the Food Fair on August 23. I have notified them that you will be there. The Food Fair is from 8:00 am – 11:00 am. The location is the Guadalupe Center, 326 S. Jensen , Houston, TX 77003

    If you have an opportunity, could you fill in an online Volunteer application at www.catholiccharities.org

    Also, is this for a group? If so, how many people are in the group?

    I salute you for this effort and if I was in Houston would be happy to volunteer. I know many Clutchfans are very civic minded A few years ago got some Clutchfans to volunteer to help with a project to repair houses in Surfside Beach after the Hurricane Ike.
