    Sorry for the delay guys!!!

    Anyways

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Ernie Johnson:Hello everyone and welcome to this special edition of the NBA on TNT, I am alongside Charles Barkley..

Charles Barkley: The Rockets are not going to win tonight!

Ernie Johnson:who is never afraid to speak and my other colleague is Kenny "The Jet" Smith

Kenny Smith: Utahs home court is crazy but I am going with the Rockets tonight.

Ernie Johnson: Rockets forward Tracy McGrady made an interesting guarantee today..

    rolls tape of interview

Ernie: What do you think of the interview guys?

Charles Barkley: McGrady is a damn fool for saying that. No way in hell that he comes close to 50 tonight and no way that the Rockets blow Utah out in Utah. Utah has proven that they can shut him down in the post season and they will shut him down again tonight.

Kenny Smith: I can't believe I am saying this but I agree with Chuck about McGrady not being able to get 50 against this tough Jazz defense. Last year in the playoffs the Jazz would switch off defenders on him from Ronnie Brewer to Andrei Kirilenko to even Kyle Korver to always have a fresh guy on him and that bothered McGrady[/b] throughout the whole series. However, unlike Chuck the Rockets made some moves in the off season that will help them be able to get past Utah.

    1. Rockets drafted Michael Beasley- Absolute steal here and I know Chuck agrees with me. Beasley or Beastley as some call him is averaging a rookie leading 22 points per game in his first five games as a NBA player and he has filled the void for injured forwards Luis Scola and Carl Landry.

2.Rockets Traded for Josh Smith A huge problem for Houston last year in the playoffs was their inability to finish at the rim well during the off season they addressed that issue and got one of the best finishers that the game has to offer in Josh Smith.

3.Yao Ming- Chuck, I think you keep forgetting that the Rockets didn't have Yao Ming last year in the playoffs. Well they have him back this season and he has been playing great in his first 5 games. Boozer and Okur won't have an answer for Yao Ming tonight and that will ultimately win the game for Houston.

Ernie: So Kenny, you are going with the Rockets and Charles you are going with the Jazz?

Charles:Thats right Ernie. Kenny your a fool. The Jazz are gonna wipe the floor with the Rockets tonight. Just Watch.

Kenny:Oh Ill be watching all right to see the look on your face when the Rockets completely destroy the Jazz
    tonight.

Ernie: What a game we have for you. We will see you at halftime!

NBA ON TNT Pre-Game Show with Doug Collins and Kevin Harlan[/hl]

(Just Ignore KG in the middle)

Kevin Harlan:Hello everyone and welcome to a special presentation of the NBA on TNT, Alongside Doug Collins, I'm Kevin Harlan we will be joined by Craig Sager later. Doug, we bring a very intriguing match-up tonight as the Utah Jazz host the undefeated Houston Rockets, a rematch from last years playoff series in which the Jazz won in 6 games.

Doug Collins: Yes, there is a lot of bad blood brewing from these two teams these past couple of years and the rivalry from the early to middle 90's is being revived. Tracy McGrady guaranteed a 50 point performance earlier in the day lets see if he can come through with it.

Harlan: A More than interesting twist to this rivalry is the Jazz's recent accusation of former Rocket forward Shane Battier who will be assigned to guard McGrady tonight. Lets take a look at the Toyota Moving Forward Match-Up of the Game

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Tracy McGrady vs. Shane Battier

Collins: These two were teammates in Houston for two years and now they are on rival teams. Shane Battier is known as one of the best defenders in the league and he will have a hard time trying to contain Tracy McGrady tonight who is averaging just over 30 points a game. McGrady knows most of Battiers defensive tactics so lets see if he is able to exploit them tonight.

    PART 2

Harlan:Here are the Heineken Keys to the Game.

    Utah Jazz

    Collins

Contain Yao Ming on the block: The Jazz didn't have to worry about Yao Ming in last year's playoffs but now they do. Boozer and Okur must step-up to prevent Yao Ming from getting going early in the game or its going to be a long night for Utah. The Jazz must get physical with Yao and make him shoot difficult shots so he gets frustrated. Utah needs to take Yao out of the game early so they can concentrate on shutting down Tracy McGrady.

Do Not Let T-Macs guarantee come true: I'm sure that the Jazz have seen the interview when McGrady guarantees he is going to score 50 points this game. The Utah Jazz can simply not let that happen. Double him, frustrate him, challenge every shot he shoots and make him shoot difficult jumpers. Do not let him take it inside and get his confidence going or he is going to light up the Jazz. A good strategy that worked in the playoffs last year is to switch defenders on him so he will have a fresh defender on him at all times.

    Houston Rockets

Win the Point Guard Battle: Utah lost Deron Williams in the off-season to Orlando. That is really good news for the Rockets because Williams had a field day with Houston last season. He was too big and strong for the Houston Guards and he always had good games. Well Williams is gone and Utah's point guard duties are now handled by Ronnie Price who is averaging 10 points and 10 assists so far this season. Ronnie Price has been playing above his level for the first four games. If Rafer and Steve Francis can shut him down and create turnovers they will easily be able to win this game because Price runs the offense for Utah.

Outplay thier bench: Bench Play was huge for the series last year in the playoffs. The Rockets must make the bench points closer. The Rockets have more fire power off their bench with Scola who is still trying to recover from his injury ,Landry who is playing with a dislocated finger, and Francis who is healthy and playing his best basketball in years to match up with Korver and Milsap off Utah's bench. Morris Almond has also been playing well for Utah with his lights out shooting. If Houston can win the bench battle, their chances of winning will increase.

Harlan: Well then Doug who is your pick to win the game?

Collins: Although the Energy Solutions Arena is a very hard place to win, I am going with the Rockets because I do not think the Jazz will be able to contain Yao Ming and McGrady plus they have to deal with Josh Smith and rookie sensation Michael Beasley. Houston has too much fire-power for Utah.

Alright well lets take you to Craig Sager who has an update on Tracy McGrady.

Sager: Yes Kevin, I talked to Rockets Forward Tracy McGrady before the game. I asked him about the 50 point guarantee he made and if he is going to fulfill it. He replied just watch and enjoy the show tonight. We will see if he can fulfill his guarantee. Back to you Kevin.

    Harlan: Thank you Craig.

Harlan: Now for the Utah Jazz

    [IMG]- #17 Ronnie Price
    [IMG]- #31 Shane Battier
    [IMG]- #47 Andrei Kirilenko
    [IMG]- #5 Carlos Boozer
    [IMG]- #13 Mehmet Okur

Harlan: The officials for tonights game are Dick Bavetta,Tony Brothers, and Steve Javie.

Harlan: And here is the opening tip, it is controlled by the Rockets. Rafer Alston sets up the offense. Throws the ball into the post to Yao Ming, the Jazz bring a double, Yao kicks the ball out to McGrady, McGrady fires and its in!

Collins:The Jazz are going to have to find a new defensive strategy or T-Mac is going to light the jazz on fire.

    :::::::::::::"Later in the Quarter":::::::

Harlan:Alston kicks the ball to McGrady on the wing.. Here comes McGrady .....OHHH HE JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY RIGHT OUT OF THE BUILDING!!!! WHAT A PLAY BY T-MAC!

Collins:How about the passion..look at the animation on Tracy McGrady..normally sleepy eyed..you know very smooth..you dont see this kind of energy and passion..look at the extension....Mehmet Okur..that will be hanging up on some peoples wall in the next month or so.

Harlan: The crowd is ooing and awwwing and we(chuckling) just did ourselves.

Harlan Well as we try to recover from that excitement, with that dunk the Rockets push their lead over Utah to 35-21 with 1:15 to go in the first.

Collins: This Utah crowd is stunned..I have never heard the Energy Solutions Arena so quiet before. The crowd has nothing to cheer about..Houston has come in and totally dominated Utah in the first quarter.

Harlan Theres McGrady with another steal..he dribbles around the top of the key and pulls up over Kirilenko and he nails..Houston up by 14 with less than a minute to go.

Collins: and look at Tracy McGrady's numbers through the first quarter, he has already scored 23 points! If he keeps this going he is going to sure break the 50 point mark tonight.

Harlan Doug, hes almost half way there and we arent even through with the first quarter yet!

Harlan Well as quarter one winds down to a close, Houston Leads Utah 39-23

    Second Quarter

Harlan: Welcome back to the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City and the crowd here is just as silent as we are right now, Doug. What have the Rockets done that has taken the Jazz out of their game.

Collins: Well the number one reason is the outstanding play of Tracy McGrady..he has been spectacular so far in the game. Another huge reason is the pressure defense that Houston is playing..They have already forced the Jazz to 11 turnovers.

Harlan: Well as we start the second quarter, what can the Jazz do to get back into the game?

Collins: Utah has to do a better job at closing out on jump shots and also try to get some momentum on their side and get this crazy crowd back into the game.

Harlan: Well Ronnie Price takes the ball up the court and with Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming on the bench to start the second quarter, this is Utah's chance to get back into the game with the Rockets two superstars getting a breather.

Collins: Utah better do something and quick or this is going to get ugly.

Harlan: And another steal by the Rockets, man they are seriously some thieves out there tonight..pick pocketing everything that Utah puts in front of them, thats already their 7th steal of the game and we just started the second quarter! Rafer throws it up court to rookie sensation Michael Beasley. Beasley fires from the wing..bang! Houston has opened up an 18 point advantage over Utah.

Collins: I can not believe how effective the Rockets defense has been tonight. It is totally throwing Utah off their game plan. Carlos Boozer hasn't even scored a point yet!

    :::::::::::::::::Mid-Way through the Quarter::::::::::::::::

Harlan: Well the Jazz are starting to make a little run..Ronnie Price kicks it to Korver and Korver nails a 3..thats a 5-0 run for Utah and they have quit Houston lead to 20..60-40.. Well Rick Aldeman has seen enough and Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady head back to the scorers table. A foul on Ronnie Brewer and Yao Ming and McGrady enter the game with 3:45 left to go.

Collins: Look at the defense the Jazz are bringing at McGrady, they are doubling him without the ball.

Harlan: The ball gets thrown over to McGrady and wow what a no-look pass down low to Yao Ming who takes it up and scores and the foul! Yao Ming is going to the line for a potential 3-point play.

Collins: Once Yao Ming gets so low on the block, there is no stopping him.

    ::::::::a little bit later on::::::::::::::::::::::

Harlan: And Yao Ming has single handily taking over the game the last part of the quarter scoring 7 straight Rocket points to give them a 67-40 lead with 2 minutes left. Heres McGrady down to Yao again, and oh Yao with his own version of The Dream Shake!! He left Okur stunned.

Collins: That was truly reminiscent of Hakeem..What a move by Yao.

Harlan: We now take you back to TNT Studious for the Southwest Game Break.

Ernie: Ernie Johnson here, coming up on the T-Mobile Half Time Report we will have the analysis of the first-half by Charles Barkley and Kenny "the Jet" Smith and also Tracy McGrady will tell us his fave 5 Rockets of all time.

Kenny: ITS OVERRRRRRRR...The Jazz just need to pack it up because there is no way they are going to even make this game close. The Rockets are on another level right now and Tracy McGrady is playing like the player that we all know he is capable of..Chuck..your pick of Utah is doing great aren't they?

    Barkley: Kenny, just shut up.

Ernie: While we sit here and try to calm Charles down, we will send the game back to you Kevin.

    both Collins and Harlan lauging

Harlan: And Utah has hit a 3 to cut the lead to 26..the score is 69-43 in favor of Houston.

Collins: Look at this now by Utah..they have now gone back to doubling Yao Ming to see if McGrady has cooled off..he has not scored in this quarter after scoring 22 in the first.. Utah can't decide who to double. The Rockets have totally took them out of their game plan.

Harlan: McGrady at the top of the key with Brewer on him, he absolutely blows by Brewer and goes up and is met by Okur and Boozer in mid-air and they collide..McGrady flips it up and it goes in!! and the foul!!! OH MAN WHAT A SHOT BY TRACY McGRADY!!!

Collins: I didn't know the circus was in town this week.

Harlan: McGrady sinks the free throw to make the lead 72-43 Rockets..a 30 point blow out and Houston is not letting up!

Collins: And they are not going to either, Houston is looking to send Utah a message by embarrassing them on their own floor and so far they are doing a good job of it.

Harlan And McGrady with a steal, another steal by Houston and McGrady on the break..throws it to Alston and Alston throws it up to McGrady....FLIGHT NUMBER ONE IS CLEARED FOR LANDING!!! McGrady with a tremendous throw down from the dish from Alston... The Rockets have stunned this crowd and as the teams head to the tunnel for the half the score is 74-43

We now send you to Ernie Johnson and the gang in our studious in Atlanta..Ernie take it away.

half-time report and second-half in next update..

    Letting the anticipation build lol...

and I'm taking the class because it is way better to take it here(SFA) then to take it at Baylor where it is like impossible and any business major at Baylor requires 5 hours of humanities.

Sorry guys for the delay on update..anyways..

    NBA ON TNT
    T-Mobile Half-Time Report

    [IMG][IMG] [IMG]
Ernie Johnson: Hello everyone and welcome to the T-Mobile Half-Time Report, alongside Charles Barkley and Kenny "The Jet" Smith, I am Ernie Johnson and after seeing Houston absolutely dominate Utah in the first half, leading by 31, what can you say about the game so far.

Kenny Smith: I am absolutely speechless right now. Unlike my colleague, I did pick the Rockets to win but I had no idea that they were going to absolutely humiliate Utah on their home court like this and the number one reason for this is the play of Tracy McGrady and also Yao Ming. There was a point in the game where McGrady was getting a rest on the bench and Yao Ming reeled off 9 points in a row by himself absolutely abusing Boozer with that imitation of mine and Charles' old teammate, Hakeem Olajuwon.

Charles Barkley: I don't say this that much but I agree with Kenny. The Rockets are winning this game because of their two superstars. Tracy McGrady has been spectacular so far in this game. He already has 27 points which is more than half-way to his guarantee of 50. If he keeps playing at this rate he will definitely score 50 tonight, maybe even more.

Ernie: Although both of you think that the game is over, what does Utah have to do to at least make this game look respectable.

Kenny: Houston acquired Josh Smith in the off-season to be their 3rd scorer, Utah needs to make Josh Smith become the scorer for Houston because so far he has been inconsistent.

Charles: Utah should just quit so they will only lose by 31 and not more.

    Ernie laughing

Ernie: Now we present to you Tracy McGrady's fave 5 Houston Rockets

    [IMG] [IMG]

McGrady: I'm Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets and these are my fav 5 all time favorite Rockets

    Clyde Drexler-[IMG]

    Hakeem Olajuwon- [IMG]

    Yao Ming- [IMG]

    and just for you two..

    Charles Barkley- [IMG]

    and

    Kenny Smith- [IMG]

Barkley: Man, I looked good back in the day.

Kenny: Chuck, you mean I looked good.

Barkely: No, Kenny you look like your mom beat you when you were a kid.

Kenny: Well at least I'm not fat.

Ernie: Alright you two, well we thank you for joining us for the T-Mobile half-time report, we will send you back to Kevin Harlan, Doug Collins, and Craig Sager after these messages.

    3rd Quarter

Harlan: Welcome back to the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Alongside Kevin Harlan, I am Doug Collins and Doug the crowd is stunned on what we have seen so far.

Collins: The Houston Rockets have come out and completely sucked the energy right out of this building.

Harlan: Well as we get the 3rd quarter underway as Ronnie Price brings the ball up for the Jazz who trail the Rockets 74-43. What can Utah do to try to make the game look reasonable.

Collins: Utah must play better defense on Houston's two superstars, Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. Utah might be able to go on a little run here and cut the lead down to 18,16 points and then make a serious run at it.

Harlan: Ronnie price gets the ball stripped by Alston, Alston whips the ball up to McGrady who squares up and fires from behind the arc! Its good! and the Rockets have opened up their biggest lead of the evening, going up by 34.

Collins: McGrady is really feeling it tonight and looks very confident taking these shots.

    *******************Later on in the quarter********************

Harlan: And after another basket by McGrady, Houstons lead is 37 and McGrady has tallied a total of 39 points so far in thhe game, 12 of them in this 3rd quarter. Ronnie Price throws the ball down into Carlos Boozer, Boozer goes up and WHAT A TREMENDOUS DEFENSIVE PLAY BY JOSH SMITH!! HE THREW THAT BALL INTO THE FIRST ROW!! Josh Smith is fired up!

Collins: Look at the fire in Josh Smith's eyes right now..What an outstanding play.

Harlan: Kyle Korver throws up a 3 and it is off the mark, Yao Ming secures his 9th rebound and throws the ball upcourt to Alston, Alston with a no-look pass to Michael Beasley and Beasley throws it down all over Paul Milsap!

Collins: Whew..That was bad. The Rookie just dominated the Jazz's whole front line. What a stuff!

Harlan: With that basket, Houston now leads the Jazz 90-51 with 6:15 left to go in the 3rd.

    ***************Fast forward through the 3rd*********************

Harlan: And another 3 by Morris Almond, He has absolutely caught fire for Utah with his 3rd made 3 of the quarter to cut Houston lead to 93-63.

Collins: The Rockets defense is slacking here on Almond and he is trying to bring his team back into the game.

Harlan: Tracy McGrady brings the ball up for the Rockets he takes a pic from Yao and fires a 3..BANG! McGrady with 42 points already!

Collins: I hope nobody touches his hands or they will get burned!

Harlan: The Rockets with another steal! Heres McGrady again for 3..BANG!!! Tracy McGrady is on FIRE!!! A 6-0 run for Houston by himself..and time-out for Utah..Houston leads 99-63.

    **************End of 3rd Quarter****************************

Harlan Houston is up by 38 with 30 seconds to go in the 3rd..Tracy McGrady with the ball on the wing..swings the ball up top to Alston, Alston down to Yao, they double Yao, shot clock running out, Yao hits McGrady on the wing, McGrady fades and nails the jumper!! Tracy McGrady has 49 points through 3 Quarters!! 7 seconds left in the 3rd...Utah brings the ball up shoots for 3 no good..After 3 Houston leads Utah 107-67

    *************4th Quarter*****************************

Harlan: Houston leads Utah 107-67 to start the 4th...The Rockets get the ball..Alston brings the ball up and fires down to Yao who swings it over to McGrady, he fires it up over two Utah defenders, and its in!!! Tracy McGrady is unconscious right now, he doesn't miss!

Collins: With that basket Tracy McGrady has made his 50 point guarantee. This is truly one of the special performances I have ever witnessed. Also with that assit..Yao Ming has 8 in the game to go along with his 20 points and 13 Rebounds..A great all-around game for Yao so far as well.

    ************Later On*********************************

Harlan: McGrady with the ball..he gets past Brewer, hits a cutting Josh Smith..OH MY!! WITH NO REGARD TO HUMAN LIFE!!!!!! JOSH SMITH!!!

Collins: This game is over..time to empty the benches coaches..its garbage time..Houston is leading by 46.

    *FOUL**

Harlan: With 6 minutes to go in the 4th, Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming exit the game. Tracy McGrady with a spectacular performance, an incredible 61 points and he also got his teammates involved dishing the ball out 15 times. Yao Ming exits with 24 points,15 rebounds, and 8 assits. A near triple double for the big man.

    ***********End of 4th***************

Harlan As the clock runs down in the 4th quarter, the Houston Rockets got their revenge on their arch rival Jazz and then some absolutely destroying the Jazz tonight with a score of 137-87, a 50 point blow out!

We go to our very own Craig Sager who is standing by with Tracy McGrady.. Craig

Sager: Yes I am standing by with Tracy McGrady and Tracy, you told me to "sit back and enjoy the show" before the game started but did you have any idea that your team was going to play this well.

T-Mac: I believed in my teammates and I knew we could do this. I was just feeling it tonight and it seemed like every shot that I put up when in. It was a great feeling.

Sager: Now that the Rockets are still undefeated at 5-0 whats next for you?

T-Mac: I just need to keep getting better and we need to keep practicing hard and preparing well for our games and executing in them.

Sager: Thank you Tracy, Kevin back to you.

Harlan: We know present to you the TNT Closer of the Game

Collins: Is there any other choice? Its obviously Tracy McGrady, 61 points, 15 assists, such a magnificent performance.

Harlan:With that said, Im Kevin Harlan, alongside Doug Collins saying so long from Utah with the final score Houston Rockets, 137, Utah Jazz, 87.
