Yall seriously have no idea whats going on..

Its a franchise played on NBA 2K8 on XBOX 360.

I am controlling the Rockets. I started off at the beginning of the off-season prior to the 2008-2009 season and controlled everything that went on from the draft to trades etc.. I also made up the interviews and Press Conferences and stuff.

I am now getting into the games. My first game with the San Antonio Spurs will be posted soon.

Fred Hickman: Hello everyone and welcome back to KIA NBA Shootaround! We will now be discussing our night game as the new look Houston Rockets host the San Antonio Spurs.

Fred Hickman: Guys want to you think the key is for the Rockets to win at home tonight against the defending Western Conference champions San Antonio Spurs.

Leggler:: The Rockets are without Luis Scola for tonights game so his replacement, Carl Landry is going to have to step it up tonight if the Rockets are going to win. Also, newly acquired forward Josh Smith and rookie stud Michael Beasley will be making their Rockets debuts tonight. If they shine, the Rockets will win. The Rockets need to shut down Tim Duncan on the defensive end. Duncan killed the Rockets last season but Yao Ming has greatly improved his strength so I think Yao does a good job on Duncan tonight.

Fred Hickman: Thank, you Tim. Greg, what is the key for the San Antonio Spurs.

Anthony: The Spurs need to establish a post presence with Tim Duncan early and Tony Parker needs to penetrate into the Rockets defense in order for the Spurs to come out with a win tonight. Manu Ginobli also has to bring energy off the bench for the Spurs but the Rockets also have good bench players this season in Michael Beasley and Steve Francis. The Spurs have to shut down Yao Ming on the defensive end and make Tracy McGrady take bad shots in order to win the game. Josh Smith will be the X Factor for the Rockets tonight.
Fred Hickman :So who do you guys pick to win the game.

Leggler: I am going with the San Antonio Spurs, it will be a close game but I think experience pays off in the end for the defending Western Conference Champions.

Anthony: I am also going with the Spurs but if the Rockets come out with fire tonight they might blow the Spurs out if San Antonio is not careful.
Fred Hickman: Both going against the home team. We will see what happens. Well coming up next is a rematch of last year Eastern Conference Finals as the Boston Celtics host the Detroit Pistons. We will see you at half-time.

No offense, but I find this thread more hilarious by imagining the OP as a 12 years old kid. :D

Both teams came out trading baskets and the Spurs went on a little run to go up 10-15 early on the game. With 5 minutes to go in the first , Tracy McGrady had found himself to be in early foul trouble and had to be taken out. Adelman decided to sub Carl Landry out as well at the point and insert Michael Beasley and Steve Francis into the line-up. Led by their newly acquired teammates the Rockets made a run of their own and went up 18-15. Michael Beasley showed that he is really a stud by scoring 11 first quarter points for the Rockets but San Antonio would not go away and pulled ahead again late in the quarter but a 4-0 run by Houston gave the Rockets the slight edge after one quarter
    Rockets 31, Spurs 29

    Unexpected Scorer
Once again, both teams came out trading baskets in the second quarter to keep this game really close. Tracy McGrady returned to his usual self by starting off the quarter by scoring 8 quick points but he once again fell into foul trouble and had to sit out half of the quarter after picking up his third personal foul. Michael Beasley continued to impress in his NBA debut with a monster slam over Tim Duncan. Damon Stoudemire has become the surprise player for the Spurs this game after scoring 11 points in the second quarter. After 2 quarters of action, we find this game deadlocked at 60. Rockets, 60 Spurs, 60

    Half-Time Stats

    San Antonio Spurs
Manu Ginobli- 13 pts, 2 Reb, 1 Blk
    Michael Finley- 12 pts
    Damon Stoudamire- 11 pts,2 asts

    Houston Rockets
Michael Beasley- 14 pts, 4 reb, 1 ast, 2 Stl
Tracy McGrady- 12 pts, 4 ast
    Yao Ming- 10 pts, 3 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk

Stoudamire continues to impress as well as Beasley and Smith.. More foul problems for T-Mac
Tracy McGrady picked up his 4th personal foul with not even a minute gone by in the third quarter so he was forced to go to the bench again. Michael Beasley and Josh Smith continue to impress in their Rockets debut as well as second year forward Carl Landry who threw down some monstrous dunks to keep the Rockets in the game. The Spurs once again built a 5 point lead but the Rockets tied the game up after a Landry Dunk and Rafer Alston 3. Damon Stoudamire continuing his surprising score by nailing a buzzer beating 3 to put San Antonio up by 3 going into the 4th. Spurs 91 Rockets, 88

T-Mac lights up the Spurs in the 4th Houston pulls away.
Tracy Mcgrady finally woke up from his sluggish start and absolutely caught fire in the fourth going for 16 points as the Rockets went on two huge runs of 15-4 and 13-4 in the game to close out the Spurs. Michael Beasley continued to impress in the 4th with nasty dunks during garbage time. Final Score, Rockets 124, Spurs 109

now we add this little snippet, and voila!... REALISTIC!

ROCKETS GM MOREY TO STEP DOWN.

HOUSTON (AP) -- In an absolutely baffling turn of events, the Houston Rockets have changed General Managers during one of the more bizarre press conferences in recent sports history.

Daryl Morey, considered one of the smartest people to ever work in his field, called an emergency press conference today to announce his abrupt retirement.

"First of all I would like to thank the Alexander family for giving me this great opportunity, and the fans of the city of Houston. I have enjoyed my stay here on Earth but now I must return to my home planet of Mercuron 4"

Morey then proceeded to explain that he was not actually human, but an alien cyborg with super intelligence. "Even my name is not what it seems" Morey went on to say, then shocking many members of the press by ripping an article of flesh off his neck to reveal a decal which read "D.A.R.Y.L.M.O.R.E.Y"

When asked what the acronym meant, Morey casually stated "Data Analyzing Robotic Youth Lifeform, Modified from Original, Reanimated for Extra Years."

One member of the press asked "Wait... D.A.R.Y.L? Wasn't that some bad 80's movie?" but his question was never addressed.

Morey was mostly calm and collected throughout the ordeal, the same characteristics he displayed in his stay with the Rockets.

"It is true, I am not human, but I have enjoyed pretending to exist as one." he said, while still showing no emotion whatsoever.

Rockets owner Leslie Alexander added "We have been more than happy to have Daryl here as our GM, I will miss his never-failing allegiance, his attention to detail, and most of all his 200TB internal memory. But we are excited with who we have brought in as his replacement."

And with that the press conference shifted focus and had somehow become that much more bizarre.

In what is sure to be considered a highly questionable move, Alexander introduced a young man named "tmac2therack", who had been sitting next to him the entire time.

The young kid who had been sitting quietly by Alexander throughout the day and was assumed by many to be a male prostitute, was then introduced as the newest GM of the Houston Rockets.

"We realize tmac2therack has little experience..." said Alexander, "but his track record in NBA2k8 is stellar, and he made a lot of good decisions, we feel he has what it takes to became a solid NBA General Manager, even if he did go to Baylor."

"I'd like to thank Mr. Alexander for this great opportunity, I will do my best to lead the Rockets to glory" said tmac2therack, who then added he would be making all future decisions based on video game simulation.

The Rockets open training camp in October.
