hey guys....im here.....maybe i dont understand whats going on....but i thought we were drafint on yahoo? i got the email....but i assumed that the 19th was our draft and that if i couldnt come to that...that yahoo would pick for me based on my rankings? man im really confused. Can someone tell me whats up because i dont wan jason terry and cuttino mobley LOL

My availability is limited today (I'm going to the pub straight after work, in 3 hours), and I think it's unlikely I'll be in a fit state to draft after that. I did mention one player that I wanted to Kam, but after that, I'll be happy with the highest yahoo-rated player. Thanks!

This has actually been going on for several days... We had planned on drafting on Yahoo, but all the spots were full, so we had to come up with an alternative. We decided to draft in the forum, and that if someone were unable to be present during their picks, we would draft the highest available player for them off of Yahoo. You in particular were an enigma because you haven't posted on the BBS since the 10th, when you said that you had joined the league... We decided not to replace you and hoped that you would see the posts in either the Yahoo League site, here in this forum, or the posts that we made in the Hangout forum when we were trying to replace no show players. I looked at your profile and added your AOL username to my buddy list in case you came online, and I sent an email to the address listed. I don't know what more we could do. The fact is that the season is approaching quickly and we need to get the draft taken care of. It's too late to go back and start over again so that you can redo your picks. However, you have players that people are interested in, so if you're not happy, I would recommend examining some trade proposals. Plus, the draft is far from over, so you still have 11 rounds to round out your team. Your players aren't bad, but your team is guard heavy right now. Sorry for that, but again, we really did all that we could do.
I have no intention of going strait to Yahoo Rankings to finish my team. However, if there are those of you who want to go that route, please make it known so we can pick for you quickly while you're away. Is that what you want to do ron?

Since he finally posted again, let's give him a little extra time to surface. I emailed him a reminder about 30 minutes ago. I don't know how much access to a computer he has. I think we should give him about half an hour more...
If we have to pick for him, I think we should make sure we pick a player that can start for him. I think he has all the guard and utility positions used up, so he needs a forward or center.
