...shall be reserved for the 1st Houston Rockets squad to actually put another NBA Trophy in the case. Yes, it was a thrilling run, but enough already. (No, tinman, Harden is not better than Drexler yet... good grief ) Also, I suggest you slower and/or younger ones in the crowd tune in to the NBA TV special "CLUTCH CITY" and pay close attention. Round these parts, teams that don't title, don't get new titles. btw- The #1 seed just advanced to the Finals. They were deeper, etc. The Rockets did very well with the 2 backup PGs and no real solid starting PF powerhouse... and 4 free-throw liabilities on the floor. It gets better from here. (Think of this year's experience as kinda like '93, ya' dig?) Do your magic, Morey. CD style. PEACE. Next season is here.
So Drexler just won mass chips before reuniting with DREAM? Give the team and players their props. Stop hating. It's just never good enough for some. I get it we lost, but the Warriors were injury free and deeper.
C'mon man. Not right now. This team just took our franchise to the WCF for the first time in 18 years without 2 starters. Appreciate this team. We all wanted more, but in the end it was a great year. Probably a top 7 season in Rockets history.
Clutch City 1.0 never left, just needed retooling. Proof: if you search 'clutch city' on IPhone maps, look where it centers in

This was a solid run, the best one we’ve had since Clinton’s second term. Nothing to sneeze at, especially when you look at how last season ended, and the progress that was made on the defensive end since that loss to Portland. Champions aren’t built over night, and these kind of losses (both last year’s heartbreaker and this year’s beatdown) are necessary. As are the wins, historic victories and character-building comebacks that we witnessed during this run. This team has holes and flaws, but it’s also not all that far. Another playmaker/shot-creator to both take pressure off Harden and complement him. A big (or someone like 2012 Shane Battier that can play big) that can shoot reliably and hit free throws. Continued improvement as a defensive unit. Growth from Harden. Health for Howard. The future is bright in H-town. Let’s build on this, so we can get to Clutch City III. Azim da Dream
CC 1 & 2 Hakeem in full beast mode. Opposing teams knew he was getting the ball yet still couldn't stop him. I don't know if Beard and Dwight have it in them but someone will need to bring that kind of work ethic and attitude to the team before we'll see a championship.
