I believe that he just had the partial meniscectomy. If Clowney has his meniscus repaired he could be out the whole season.

The way he was walking, it looked minor. I tore my meniscus real bad during Christmas and didn't get a scope until three months ago. I am pretty much back to normal, but I did gain some weight. I'm sure clowney will have the best to help him, and I expect him back in about six weeks at worst.

No, but it just par for the course for Clowney.

He is like a Ferrari that is in the shop every month.

I will say this, he was over pursuing but the defense looked very good with him playing in the first half.

Clowney makes Tmac look like Cal Ripken Jr. in terms of reliability.

I had a bad tear in mine as a sophomore in high school. Complete tear. Didn't have it resected and fixed until six years later. I kept working out on it, and the pain went away. It would bother me from time to time, but nothing crazy. Six years after that, and I'm glad I had it out. Will probably need a knee replacement, eventually, though.

Clowney is a world class athlete, and he should probably have his repaired, if possible. Sounds like that's what they'll do. Unfortunately, the meniscus gets very very little bloodflow. Because of that, it takes quite a bit of time for it all to heal when repaired and not resected. See Russell Westbrook.

Hell, after mine, I walked out of the hospital two hours later, barely using the crutches. Surgery was on a Friday, and I was back at school/work on Monday.

Just depends on what type you have, and what the bloodflow is like to that part of the meniscus.

His 104 degree fever combined with spending the off days in the hospital getting fluids pumped into him could have something to do with that as well.

Not to say he's a bust, but he's a bust. Hope I'm wrong, but we need to start readjusting our expectations for him.

I think it's fair to say that clowney is injury prone. The guy tore him meniscus by jumping. JUMPING.

Sucks that he's out but a meniscus tear isn't all that bad. He'll be back just fine in no time; if they repair it a little longer.

It's a bit concerning that he got hurt on a play like that where pretty much nothing happened. Throwing around words like bust is just stupid though.
