Don't know how you could write off the Spurs.. its the same every year yet they are as tough as anyone come playoff time. Agree completely with Mavs, Suns and Pistons. Raptors not so sure... I think they were over rated as a team going into this year and while the JO trade didn't work out it shouldn't kill them in the long run(if they keep Bosh in 2010...unlikely). They seem to have finally for got Bargnani's role sorted out... if they get a decent bite for JO's contract as it expires they could be ok.
That low post player was supposed to be dirk. And they were nearly unstoppable when Avery got him to buy into it. Mavs still have a good sized window. Hopefully, Cuban keeps tinkering... shut down the window asap
I guess you make a great point. No team could ever win a playoff series after getting blown out on the road by that same team in January.
I think the Jason Kidd/Devin Harris trade marked the end of an era for the Mavs. Unless they pull off a miraculous trade or land a special player in the draft. They really screwed up big with that one. And I love it
