The Clippers don't have the best inside player and best perimeter player in the league like that team did... The Clippers aren't contenders and aren't likely to be if they swap young assets for an aging star like Iggy...
Different ways to win a championship, they already have a star and a side-kick to build around in Griffin and Gordon which makes things a lot easier. I think they can lure Philly to give up Iggy for that pick and something else. Seems like a good fit but if they don't succeed in trying to trade for a SF, I'd try to sign Shane to a short deal and wait until the deadline to pickup their guy.
