This is the same GM that waived Joe Ingles, then went on to see Joe Ingles beat him in the first round of the playoffs. Waive Pat, so our Sweet Prince can come back home.
For the people asking if we can resign him, NO we can't resign him per new CBA that developed after the zydrunas ilguaskas (Cavs) trade was the last I think. Teams were trading players and have an agreement with them to be waived and sign them back with their old team.
Can he actually sign with Rockets again? Isn't the rule that he has to wait a year, but he was cut though. I remember people saying that Bogut could return to the Warriors if he wanted to since he was cut by the Mavs.
I could see this happening if no one picks him up. Sure, he can't sign with the Rockets for a year, but he probably wouldn't play rotation minutes for us anyway. This way he could develop still with our own staff.
Hilarious right? Nah, just kidding. There's absolutely enough of it in the world. It's not funny at all.
Didn't a poster on this forum say that Wilter was already better than Anderson but somehow was traded and waived within 1 month?
They have this other guy named Jamil Wilson out of Marquette who was playing pretty well and draining 3s last I saw. I'm sure he and Brice Johnson will be part of the final 13 on their regular season roster rather than Witljer. All in all they didn't plan for him to be in the fold so might as well part ways now so he can find a new suitor.
