I believe the Heat announcers said he is on his 24th straight double double....no idea about the record though.
http://losangeles.sbnation.com/los-...-shaquille-oneal-streak-20-points-10-rebounds Griffin currently has 13 (including today), the record is Shaq with 18.
Rockets: 17-22 Clippers: 13-24 I can't believe I'm saying this, but they could pass us by the end of the month.... the clippers could have better record than us
Kevin Love's currently riding a streak of 25 straight double doubles. Both are deserving of All-Star nods, IMO.
I'm guessing Wilt has that record, and its something completely ridiculous. I think he once claimed that he never had a single-digit rebounding game in his entire career.
Did anyone else notice that Eric Gordon was the guy directing his teammates on where to be for the plays they were running. Did you happen to catch he was pointing Baron PG Davis to where he needed to be too? This bothered me a bit that Davis didn't appear to know the plays. I can understand Jordan needing some direction because he's not very bright but your former All Star PG? That's bull****...
Last player to do that was Shaq 10 years ago. Only players to have do in it in the past 25 seasons are Shaq, Karl Malone, and Barkley.
Agreed. Hell, I feel like Blake might actually be the first player in ages to actually hustle in an All Star game - well the first since Kobe was trying to break the points record.
Davis is checked out, for the most part. If he truly committed himself, the Clippers would be a dangerous team. Tonight was the sharpest he's looked all season, and his performance throttled LA to victory. He's too busy fooling around in the entertainment industry (music and film) and trying to get involved in the political scene. He needs to re-focus, and earn his paycheck.
Clippers 8-3 in their last 11 wow So far they've beaten Chicago, New Orleans, Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=182740&highlight=Wilt Well, in 61-62, Wilt had at least a 20/10 in every game. And in one stretch, he had 18 straight games with at least 39+ points and 20+ rebounds. Kind of unfair to compare, of course.
this was the clips' largest crowd of the year, more than when they hosted the lakers. it doesn't matter about this year. but "for now", the clips have a brighter future than us (if sterling doesn't mess it up)
Actually, Sterling calling out Davis for being "lazy" might have been the best thing to happen for the Clippers. I mean he's feeding Griffin all those amazing slam dunks, right?
