well i said the road win streak wouldn't survive the trip after those 2 close calls and it appears miami dug the hole too deep this time (i didn't see the 1st half, wtf happened to get it to 49-28?) and a young athletic team seemed like the type of team that could catch them napping. plus lebron getting hurt didn't exactly help the comeback.
Miami desperately needs Mike Miller to return to top form. Bosh has decided that it's reasonable for him to pull the trigger on 3-balls in the flow of the offense (he also air-balled a jumper just inside the line)... they're really missing a pure shooter to surround Wade and LeBron.
Kobe was clutch but it irked me watching him elbowing the crap out of Monta's chest to clear space. He even did a half-assed shove right in front of the ref who clearly did not want to call it at all.
the fact that baron just basically doesn't give a **** is why he's so scary on the other team, because he'll just raise up with no conscience and drain a key jumper, no matter how terrible it is, to put you away. the fact that baron just basically doesn't give a **** is also why he's so scary on your team, because he'll get fat and lazy and launch a ton of jumpers, no matter how terrible they are, to put you away.
He has been getting a lot better, but more about passing these days......which is why they are playing better 8 out of the last 11, now. DD
Yeah, he had 5 points against us right before Christmas, and the Clippers never led the game. DeAndre Jordan's really turned a corner in the last 2 weeks. The Griffin-Gordon duo is going to makes some serious noise down the road, and they have young talent in Bledsoe and Aminu. The Clips are no joke...
Spos can't expect the big 3 to score 90% of their points like the other game. Bench needs more production. Can be a huge problem in the playoffs.
Ellis too. Heck, the whole Warriors team really turned up the juice in the 4th. Was really hoping they'd pull it out but Kobe just did his Kobe thing... Say, I remember someone mentioning on these boards that Griffin was en route to longest streak of 20/10 games for any rookie ever... almost every single boxscore I've looked at since seeing that post, Griffin has had at least 20/10... did he break the record, or was there a bad game in the middle somewhere?
