Good God someone tell Webber to stfu. I want to watch a bball game, not get a longwinded narrative of his basketball philosophy
Gay should be taking 10 shots, not 25. In their only win of the series, he took 13 shots. He's a ball hog with no playmaking skills.
Wonder if Chris Paul's tired. He's averaging a little over 40 minutes a game and carrying the load against a some decent defense. (And it is tiring always flailing to the ground when breathed on.)
Gasol needs to absorb those hits, shut the **** up and play like he is tough. His b****y emotions are not doing him any favors.
Hell no (although you make it harder to support the Grizzlies) He's had the same attitude for the whole series, it's better to find a balance between showing your opponents that it won't affect you and trying to get the refs to baby sit you. He has only been doing the latter.
The clippers haven't seen the best grizzlies team since game 1. And yet they are barely beating us. If the grizzlies can get over the fact that the clippers took our heart in game 1 and get back to memphis basketball, it is very possible that we take this series. Even being down 3-1. Of course beating the clippers in LA is going to be hard because if the game is close the grizzlies have no answer for chris paul. The grizzlies would have to make sure to beat them in every quarter and not give them a chance to clip us at the end of the game.
Barkley preaching my message. In a halfcourt affair, the Clippers are not very good. All you have to do is take away CP3 and eliminate the defensive runouts and the Clips are d-o-n-e done. Don't be surprised if Memphis wins 3 in a row if they keep going down low to Zach and Gasol and quit taking all those stupid jumpers and they take the ball out of CP3's hands.
Thing is beating a CP3-led team 3 straight times is really tough. But Game 6 is huge (looking ahead here)
You're making it seem as though: A) It's easy to shut down Chris Paul, and B) Chris Paul is a bad PG. Neither of those are true.
It is easy. You double him way out high when he crosses halfcourt and force him to get rid of it to Blake......just like they're doing right now. The more Blake dribbles around with the ball trying to make something happen, the worse the Clippers are.
