    Coulda woulda shoulda.

Amare was a key cog, but Nash and Marion were the Suns.

Hell, go read that book the Suns journalist wrote. Amare's attitude behind the scenes wasn't great either. It was Nash that held everything together, and it ain't close.

OMG, get that off the screen. That is deplorable. He is equally horrible from EVERYWHERE. How the f*%k do you get that contract playing that horribly? He went from a cancer in LA on a corpse (Clippers) to claiming his next victim (Pistons).

I guess this is the problem when you spend all your career with guys like Cp3, the game becomes so easy you start struggling once you are no longer with a HOF playmaker.

I thought about this some more, and I wonder if down the road the SUNS could be desperate enough. They have wanted Blake in the past. I could also see OKC looking at him (considering the Sooner ties) if PG leaves. Presti not dumb enough to trade for him but if ownership gets antsy, who knows.

I think Blake's salary eliminates the Thunder as a trade partner because the value won't be there.

Maybe the Suns would take him.

I imagine the clippers only re-signed him so that they could get something for trading him.

Him and Booker could be a pretty good offensive duo.

The "Hollinger Analysis" on this one is funny ;).

whelp...almost time for Murray to set up an Asset Crisis Hotline with a Detroit area code.

Do you like expiring contracts svg? Need cap flexibility? Interested in the perennial hot prospect Cash Considerations?

Take a step back from the ledge, Murray will save you!

31 point loss to the Jazz. Blake Griffin with awful shooting percentages and not much else.

Can't believe the Clippers thought they were going to do anything but suck with this guy without CP3 feeding him.

Give the Clippers credit for fixing their mistake in less than a year. They found an idiot in SVG and now Blake's remaining (untradeable) 4 yrs/$141MM will weigh the Pistons down until the summer of 2022.

    They really screwed themselves royally.
Just when it started to look like things were finally starting to turn around for them.

Blake Griffin did look good early on and has looked good with his added jump shot and he tore us a new one on the day we went digging for a tunnel, but yeah: people made him out to be some kind of super star held back by CP3 and could lead a team. SVG made a wrong move with huge ramifications unless he turns his mistake next year into draft picks and youth with a more incompetent team like the Suns maybe.

    They didn't turn around. They just turned a corner . . . into a cul-de-sac.

@Deuce Blake is probably playing like **** on purpose cause he can't wait to get traded lol, that's why i said i can still see some teams trade for him, i think they'll arrive at some point where they'll want his ass out of Detroit like what happened with Josh Smith, and they'll be fine with trading him for peanuts just to get rid of him, Suns, OKC (if George is gone) are all good guesses imo.

Who would take Blake off Detroit’s hands now? That trade has the potential to be the worst in NBA history, over the Nets Celtics KG one.

Blake Griffin is just the latest proof that NBA fans are incapable of admitting that some guys might be a product of circumstance, and not actually stand-alone stuperstars. Numbers never tell a whole story.

The same mouth breather sports fans that said Harden and Paul will never work together were the same ones who said Blake Griffin was one of the best play-making forwards in the league.

Next, I'm looking at you, Klay Thompson.

Since the beginning, I thought this guy, like Melo, were severely overrated. I do think off-the-court issues have affected his game as well.
