They will become even more serious title contenders if they get JR. He is an actual 2 guard which they lack and he can knock down 3's as well as become another component of lob city.

 

I heard the Knicks want him as well.

 

Makes complete sense now. Go after him to replace Billups. May end up a better team for doing so.

 

They will sign him.

1) They're contender
2) Everybody wants to play with Paul
3) They can offer him a starting role

 

In China, JR says he'll make a choice between the Lakers, Clippers and Pacers "soon". I'm not sure if that means he won't consider the Knicks, Thunder and Wolves, all of whom have reportedly shown interest. In either case, he'll board the plane back to the States today/tomorrow.

 

Surprised about Thunder, they don't need a 2 guard.

He'd be a good fit with the Clippers, he could play 2, reunite with Kenyon, and he's got Billups there to keep him out of trouble.

 

Now they get Kmart the Original and JR Earl?
