This is sad. I miss the Tmac of old. He should honestly go to Phoenix. They work miracles and he'll finally be able to play with Hill.

I'd actually love to see McGrady join a team like the Clippers and try to take them to the playoffs.

At least I'd have more respect for him than if he hitched his wagon to the Heat/Lakers just to get himself a ring.

Not a bad situation. Could help turn that team around and sure to get the most minutes here. I truely wish Tmac no bad career. Hope he turns it around and does decently elsewhere.

i think they meant tmac was hoping to be released and then go play for the cavs, but was traded instead....if he has a thing for lebron then he'll definitely chase him to miami

    LOL WOJ CHANGED IT!

McGrady wanted the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign him last season after he requested his release from the Houston Rockets. The Rockets instead traded McGrady to the New York Knicks, where a few flashes of his old self were tempered with his recurring knee issues

    I hate Woj.

How about one of the most pathetic NBA teams that always had talent but could never do anything with it matched one of the most pathetic NBA players that always had talent but could never do anything with it.

Riiiight. The fact that he's a liability on defense, consistently in and out of the lineup, and bad for team chemistry has nothing to do with it..."why don't you wake up and smell what you shovelin?"

dude tmac is a legend. he is a stud. he played his a$$ off for his franchise and his team for the past 13 years. why would you say he's underachieving? lets see you get all those injuries and still carry your team towards 50+ wins...

T-Mac pathetic? Are you out of your mind? T-Mac was one of the greatest talents of all time that ever surfaced on the NBA scene and he pushed it all he could sacrificing his body with his strong will and spirit. Man I don't think you should insult him like that man. He was a awesome player and just because he had some of the worst supporting-cast to ever be fielded on an NBA team does not mean all the blame goes to him. T-Mac was the supreme player of his decade and he was actually someone willing to shoulder the heavy load that came due to underperforming teammates.

Right. Because David Wesley was so much better than the Lakers-era Brain Cook.

Davis and Mcgrady. All the Clips need to do is sign Shaq and AI and go back in time to '04.

I'm pretty sure T-Mac would rather retire than sign with the clippers. At this point in his career, he's simply a ring chaser (or even, a second-round chaser) so situations like LA and Miami are what he will be looking at, and willing to take the minimum for. Other than those, I think he has too much pride to sign anywhere else unless they throw the checkbook at him.

    Ah ha ha ha ha

    Finally, a team deserving.

And the tiny shred of a T-Mac fan in me cries.

T-Mac hate on this board is boarderline ridiculous. He is a nice guy, and unlike Queen LeBrick, actually has class.

Please don't bash the guy like he slept with yo momma or something.

I have more respect for T-Mac than I do for LeBrick. At least T-Mac is ring chasing in the decline of his career rather than during his prime.

Legend you say? Bird, Magic, MJ are legends. Tracy McGrady is without a doubt a phenomenal talent, and he has accomplished absolutely squat in his career. Well let me ask you then, what has he achieved, don't come back with any excuses, ifs, ands, or butts. What has he achieved? And no I could not carry a team to 50 wins on my best day, I couldn't get a team out of the first round either. You forget yourself sir.

He was a nice guy but class? No. Hell, that's the one superstar that needed to go to college.
