    Good for regular season pee

cash in the chips and get your money... Even though this is not a great contract or idea.. this shows what your team looks like with Ballmers Wallet. Must be nice

I guess I must be the only one who thinks the amounts these guys get paid have reached obscene levels.

I want to know how much the owners are realizing off their investment in owning an NBA team if the league is willing to pay a 35 year old 50 million dollars to play roughly 100 games.

In theory they get to share in the league revenue. If the NBA is signing $20 billion dollar deals with ESPN and ****, they are getting to see their money again (for the most part I guess), right?

It's incredible what the price to do business now. Probably the wrong time for broke wannabe billionaires (i.e. Tilman) to jump into owning a team. It's really a big boys game at this point to buy in (Bezos, Musk type of money).

That's true, but still, it is out of hand IMO.

Well, the Clippers' odds of winning also drop with him aging.

Lebron would have their numbers for couple years.

So what amount should players recieve to not be out of hand?

Should owners/teams take 60% of revenue 70%, 80%? What amount is fair for the players who actually perform/make the product.

I think the owners are criminals and the players are grown children. Neither should be making anywhere near the money they do, its not that I prefer one group making more money than the other. When the pandemic first hit, and we didn't have sports for awhile, I didn't miss it anywhere near as much as I thought I would. It's a shame guys like me are glued to the TV when they play because I know I'm the reason they can generate, and get paid such an obscene amount of money.

But the reality is the business of the nba generates billions of dollars annually. If the players who are significantly responsible for producing the product doesn't deserve a decent share of the profit - who does?

It's not like the nba is forcing people like me or you to buy thier product.
