Clippers or Spurs

San Antonio. Just because there will hopefully be fewer 9:30 starts.

 

I want the other Texas team to crush on our way to the championship. Our two biggest weaknesses are PF and PG and Blake and Paul > Duncan and Parker. DISPATCH THE BACKLESS STOOL!

 

If we beat the Spurs could we say we the kings of Texas?

 

the way rockets played this series does it matter? they cant pull this bs against these two teams

 

Clippers because the Rockets bench can destroy there bench

 

I voted clips. I wish there was a don't care option. I have no prefrence.

 

we have the athleticism to be a bad matchup for the spurs. i'm afraid the clippers would just beat us at our own game.

 

Spurs because Crawford and Redick turn into different players against us.

 

Rockets just need to win in 5 that's just 2 in LA and those 2 may be Friday night and Sunday afternoon road games.

Less likely to see hack strategy vs LA.

 

Not sure which team I want the Rockets to get their butt kicked by.

Spurs will just make the Rockets shoot 50 FTs a game.

If you thought Mavs were dirty floppers, wait till you come across a playoff Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

Rockets have too many weaknesses against either of these teams.

 

Spurs because:

1) We don't match up well with Clippers
2) I want to beat the best --Texas champs
3) Spurs are older, Parker is battling injury (ish) ; Duncan has lost a step (Kawhi picking his up though)

Clippers because:
1) their bench isn't as good
2) playoff choke artists
3) hack-a-jordan

Wild Card: Pop or Rivers, pick your poison (ok, Pop is way tougher)

 

Clippers. Spurs would hack like crazy.

 

Spurs

1. They are the reigning champions
2. I simply don't want to watch Chris Paul's whiny b-ass antics.

 

I think it has been asked wrong. What should be asked is who do you not want in the second round. My vote goes to the Spurs.

 

Agree! I think if Dallas got to run all over on fast breaks, clippers will be 2 times harder.

 

I'm pretty sure Dwight can beat Jordan in a game of hacks.

 

Honestly, I have no idea.

Part of me would love to take on the defending champs. To win Texas. The other part think both of these teams pose significantly bigger challenges than Dallas.

We have got to get our turnovers under control and our free throws in the hoop. Nerve wracking watching these last two games.

 

I don't think we will be favored in either series, but for the sake of aesthetics I'd say Clippers - if Doc tries Hack-a-Shaq, we will return the favor, which should limit the number of times it's implemented.
