So rockets wont have a shot to get in. lol You probably seen it on Espn, good way for payback from last year, could it get any worse?
Morey will pull some strings for that game. Promise the Vipers coach an assistant spot on the Rockets.
Assuming the Jazz beat the Mavs at home, the Rockets are toast. The Clippers are basically handing tonight's game to Utah since they're resting half their team. And the Spurs will almost assuredly rest most of their key guys in their season finale at Dallas. So assuming the Jazz beat a depleted Clippers squad at home tonight and take care of the Mavs at home in a few days, even if the Rockets win out, all Utah has to do is win at Denver or the Lakers. Not really much of a challenge there for a young, hungry team that actually tries(unlike this bunch).
Spurs reserves can beat Dallas and it may also depend if they want to run the table at home and go for the 41-0. Either way, Rockets don't deserve it and I don't think us as fans can deal with any more of this crap.
Clippers just don't want us to make the playoffs. Morey was right. No one wants to face us in the playoffs.
exactly, it's like setting us up to jump off an airplane without a parachute. let's just tank and maybe we'll get a chance to draft that guy who made the winning shot in the NCAA.
I'm just ready for the season to be over. Playoff series take forever. I can't deal with a 10 day execution in the first round.
The Spurs vs Mavs game is in Dallas. San Antonio has nothing to play for in that one other than trying to improve on their franchise record regular season win total. But Pop is a big picture guy and mathematically they can no longer reach 70, so I doubt the Spurs will give a rat's ass about winning that game. Dallas on the other hand will be motivated assuming either a playoff spot or seeding is on the line. And BTW, there's no guarantee the Clippers won't rest some guys again Sunday when Dallas plays in LA. Honestly, they have little to play for at this point too. They're locked into the 4th seed.
