If his hustle was merely to get 20 boards, with no other implications, I stand corrected. Same city as the champs, rising franchise player, trying to test the alpha dog waters against the lake show, and an aging Kobe Bryant. Not comparing Griffin to Kobe's overall game whatsoever, but I can understand Griffin's mindset in wanting 20 boards if he is indeed a cut throat player.
This. Odom started harrassing Griffin for no apparent reason. Very cool of Davis the senior vet for having his young rookies back and sticking up for him. Matt Barnes wasnt there otherwise he would of got involved too. Lakers = sore losers+chronic whingers.
Same ****, both stats. I'm talking deeper than numbers anyway You're commenting on a glitch from my contextual linking, that is moot, if you actually read the subtext, fool.
Nah, he just doesn't take s*** from anyone. He's actually one of the most mild-mannered players in the league. He's stepped up to Griffin, KG, Birdman, Ray Allen, and plenty of others during his career. LO and Artest are the last 2 dudes you want to mess with.
Not this time...against , chalmers i think, he did a bette rjob of separating them and getting BG away...this time he started pushing Lakers arround and that always escalates things or at least prolongs it. If your Davis, you want to grab griffin and get him the hell out of there. Don't worry about opposing players unless they're physically attacking you.
Stupid ejections on Artest and Griffin. and you can see that one ref so the artest jersey and grabbed it, instead of grabbing the jersey of the player making the problem (Odom or Davis) Griffin stepped away. Stupid refs, and the lakers are sore losers.
It's funny how someone will complain about Griffin playing hard even though the game is out of reach but then will complain about a player quitting in certain situations. Anyway 5 seconds left in a game that was pretty much over this isn't that big of a deal.
I appreciate his work ethic, especially off the court. Learning about him before and after the draft made me appreciate his dedication to basketball and like him as a player. But on the court, I think it's more than just effort that ticks other players off. A couple of games ago, he bumped a player in the back out of nowhere in the middle of the court far away from the play. It was completely uncalled for. The other player went after him and was pretty much justified IMO. I never saw what prompted it, but Andre Miller retaliated against Griffin for some reason and Andre Miller isn't exactly a hothead. I believe there is something to this and it will come out. Blake Griffin is an NBA golden boy right now but it may not last. Let me repeat that last night I didn't notice anything and Lamar Odom has a history of doing things out of frustration late in games where the Lakers are losing.
Blake Griffin started mess with Mario Chalmers. Some Heat fan made a big deal out of it at the ISH forums because it was a rookie getting up in a vets face.
Odom is always talking trash and starting crap with people. He was just pissed because he's a sore loser. His wife looks like an overgrown tranny, and isn't even a real Kardashian.
Good Call. I wish this would happen more often. There needs to be a system to punish bad calls. Escpecially if the same ref has made obvious bad calls more then once or twice.
I'm just glad his holiness Kobe wasn't involved. We're talking about a perennial champion and great human being. Me and you Kobe, we're going to the top.
