Young was in there to match Nene's contract. For a trade to go down, Young had to approve it and waive his bird rights (one year deal). My guess: He wasn't willing to do it for Denver but was for LAC since he is from LA.
He scores 13 pts per game, gets about 7 rebounds, and makes 13 million per year through 2016. So glad the Rockets didn't get stuck with this guy. He's also 30 years old and injured. I think this is a great trade for Denver.
Clippers just lost to a Suns team with Steve Nash and Grant Hill sitting on the sidelines in suits. They're paper thin and inexperienced in the paint. Not a real contender. I think they get knocked out in the first round, for sure in the 2nd round.
