Nah, he's harmless. He just bangs a Constitution and yells at passerbys about crazy stuff like balanced budgets and sound money.
It's independent of the wright issue, IMO. Hillary has consistently forsaken rational decorum with respect to her own party in favor or her ego. That is not a smart move, and reeks of selfish motivations.
Do you believe though that the Republicans wouldn't come as hard or even harder against Obama? It sounds to me like you are blaming Clinton for weaknesses in Obama.
The nomination process is not a sprint. I don't understand why people think Clinton should quit because Obama has a small lead in delegates. Sure he got on a roll, but there was little depth IMO to that swell, rather a bunch of emotional outpouring about 'change.' As Obama gets more and more vetting it is even money Clinton will still emerge the victor. On the personal side I don't understand resenting Clinton for wanting to be President, nor for fighting because she thinks she matches up better with McCain than Obama does. Hell, how many people panned Gore for giving up in 2000 instead of fighting? He did that 'for the best interests of the country.'
Can people quit quoting ROCKET ROLLEYES NYC, please? Pretty please? Nice to see HayesStreet appear, by the way, even when he's wrong again. j/k
Obama had a bad week. Poll numbers are down temporarily. He'll bounce back since there are no primaries until late next month.
The truth is Obama is uniting nobody. His base are blacks (9:1) and white liberal elites. He lost big on everything else, including white females, Asians, and Latinos. And that happened within Democratic Party, in which race is much less an issue. For the folks blaming Clintons exposed his weakness, wake up and smell the coffee. There is no way Clintons can attack Obama like Republicans can. You already start whining now? Wait until the general. You haven't seen nothing yet.
Sure they would. And no I'm not blaming Clinton for harping on Obama legitimately, but I am blaming her for going where she probably should not have, particularly the numerous comments that seemed to imply McCain is a better choice than Obama. I'd still be happy with either of the two over McCain.
I agree with you. However, in the General it's going to get worse for BOTH candidates. If it becomes Obama and McCain race is going to be even a bigger issue. If it's Clinton - McCain, I think some people just won't vote or care.
