I do not think so. He gets off of the floor faster than any NBA player I can remember. Incredibly athletic. And 19. A great draft pick by Morey. He probably will be starting for an NBA team in two years.

Raw + nervous + playing with other young players= very bad

It looked terrible, but he had the ball in situations that he should never ever be in. He's a shot blocker and finisher, and most certainly not a ball handler. Maybe he will develop some offensive game in time, but he doesn't have one now, and we all knew that before watching this game.

19, close to 20. Somewhere in between

He will get there when he is 24-25

He needs a lot more time with RGV. I'm talking about 30 + minutes for a season or two.

I like him a lot! A lot of promise. I am sure Serge Ibaka was the same way at 19, and look at him now.

Serge Ibaka came into the NBA at 20. He already had a very good jumper then. Why in the world do people compare Capela to Ibaka? They are both long, black, and non-American PFs....must have the exact same game. ;)

I like him at 18, not so much at 20.

Should be much more advanced at this point IMHO.

I also think Ibaka had a much more refined game at the age of 20-21.

I first heard of him and he was already a promising player in the NBA. Already a big part of the rotation.

This is a guy The Dream should WORK with. I'm not bashing him on his first NBA game in awhile. He is young and understanding the game. But give him two years, we might have a legit shot blocker behind Dwight.
