It's nice to see a student of the Dream's that can successfully apply what he taught.

    Waves the finger

The refs calling bunch of bs trying to give game to Utah.

Good thing we had our defense set and Capela saved a couple of good ones.
Harden seemed lost the last 4 mins bad shots n turnovers. I think he was with the refs ;)

Great game. Let’s close it Tuesday

I'm not sure it's just my impression but i kinda remember Clint playing pretty well against Gobert other times this season and last season too, i think they know each other (maybe they also played together in France...?) and i had the felling that because of that he was more motivated when he played against him since Gobert got in the nba before him and already established himself as an nba player...but man, he's has been incredible in this series, he's kinda dominating Rudy which is something i never expected tbh.

I just love Clint's confidence. Clint was ready for the challenge after the ****-talking.. I love it when a player backs up the talking or rises to the challenge. Clint went out and a got a mortgage in the paint..

Capela just outplayed the so-called best offensive center in the league in the first round and the so-called best defensive center in the league in the second round. Where does that put him in terms of center ranking?

Capela's agility, creativity, and rim-running really bothers the sh*t out of Gobert, you can see him breathing heavily and being late on some blocks because he's out of breath.

And to think stamina was one of Clint's weaknesses...he's really worked hard to turn that around. Now the other centers are struggling to keep up with him!

We need the picture of Capela holding the baby with Gobert's face on it

Man, I never seen this coming. Clint Capela is evolving to be a Star to form our BIG 3. He is been awesome so far in this playoffs. He is going to get rewarded big time this off season. He will be getting paid big bucks for sure. Luckily, He is a Restricted Free Agent and we can match any offer he gets. Someone please tell DeAndre to take a vet minimum, so he can be our back up..lol

Wow, it's amazing to see Chris Paul and James Harden cover up all of Capella's weaknesses! I mean how would he have ever gotten 6 blocks or 15 rebounds without Harden and Paul clearing the way out for him to travel straight up the yellow brick road to mediocrity?! Capella should thank the basketball gods for giving him a free pass and not requiring talent or effort in exchange for success! Basketballholic, your evaluations truly are genius!

The more Utah got chippy the better he played.

And Capela is still getting better. He is starting to create his own shot, and that is awesome.

Capela is a role player, but when playing alongside CP3 and harden becomes a superstar. Quite interesting.

Im pretty sure if he went to a different team he wouldn't be able to shine this bright, i'm surprise teams aren't using hack-a-capela, capela is still pretty shtty at shooting free throws.

I think the max he can make as a soon to be 5th year player is 25% of the cap. At a bit over $100M, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone throw a max deal at him, if he continues to play well in the playoffs. Capela will get paid at least $20M next year. That puts us in a bind. We've got $76.5M tied up in salaries next year without Capela ($20M estimated), Chris Paul ($35M estimated), and Ariza ($10M estimated). Just those 3 guys put us at $140M, and DEEP into luxury tax with no relief in sight, until TWO more seasons pass when EG's $14M and Ryno's $21M come off the books. Let's enjoy the ride, as the offseason will be interesting to say the least. The Rockets have only a 2nd round draft choice, so no real roster relief coming, but also no big salaries via the draft either.

Clint has played well against Rudy in the regular season too. He used to struggle against him, but he has figured Gobert out.
