When we were up 3-2, Draymond was shooting about 40% from the field and 20% from 3. He could not cheat off Capela and Steve Kerr could not play McGee or afford not to start Draymond at the 5 (unless you buy that starting the Hamptons 5 had nothing to do with the Rockets). He almost outrebounded Green despite playing more than 10 fewer minutes per game. He guarded the rim well and shot well himself. His performance against the best defensive big man in the NBA was as good as it gets for a C whose majority contribution is not offense. Anyhow, they'll give him the least he's willing to take. When it's preseason they tell you it's about how you perform, when the next summer comes around it's about the business, when your business is going good then it's about the market, and when the market is telling you they will pay you when you're unrestricted THEN it's about loyalty I guess.
I love CC and his work ethic. I don't think he's worth 20 million dollars. That luxury cruse ship sailed last year. It's his right to risk it all and play the market, which all smart and hardworking Rockets players should do anyways.

I get he's trying to make the most amount of money but 85 to 90 million with incentives is good money to play in Texas and with his buddy James Harden and Paul!
