He is the starter. Nurkic being good and the Nuggets trying to justify paying Javale McGee any amount of money takes minutes away from him. But the fact that he starts and plays 25 minutes should be the tipoff that he is not going to be Cleveland's salvation.
It's $2 million this year, and $10 million fully non-guaranteed next year, correct? When does it become guaranteed if they do pick it up? Also, I didn't know they were allowed to do contract like that one is structured, but since it is a team option I guess it is okay. Still, they could do something under the table where they promise to pick it up so I am pretty sure I'm missing something. Anyways, they can't use it this season. They would have to pick it up in the off-season (and continue losing 1 roster spot) and trade it for sure before they had to start paying it.
You know what I meant, if he played starter minutes. Denver has that system where they play 10 guys and split minutes at a few positions.
The frontcourt in Denver is a cluster-****, they just have too many solid players at the 4 & 5. Mozgov playing 25MPG is because of that and not because he's not good, he's a very solid starting C.
Great pick up for the cavs if they can get Samuel there legit because there defense was legitimately the worst in the league. Lebron is still lebron and will be ready playoff time and a motivated/focused jr smith is better than dion waiters and very dangerous.

For the record, LeBron came into a situation & had them trade two first overall picks to team with Myrie & Love... needed more help... Got Marion, Miller & Jones but needed more help... Had them get rid of a #4 overall pick, and got back a former 6th man of the year plus Shumpert. & now has got rid of another two first rounders in order to bring in Mosgov. This dude is responsible for 7 new players on this team all to fit his style of play... & has gotten rid of a total of 5 First round picks to do it. I don't wanna here **** about needing more help or management having to do more for the rest of his tenure in Cleveland. This is the Best PLAYER int the L. And yet he needed two other All Stars, A sixth man of the year winner, Shooters Galore, a 7'2 big man who rebounds great & protects the rim, And a young prospect in shumpert who when healthy is one of the better on ball defenders in the League (although part of me feels his Defense is based on that sole time he locked Wade up in 2012). Anyways, he BETTER ****** win this year. He has a supporting cast that nobody else in the League has & since he makes his teammates so much "better" this should be a cakewalk.
That letter after signing with Cleveland is hilarious in retrospect. I know this takes time, I want the team to grow, I will be patient, teach the yougnsters...bla bla blaaa Disgusting, so obvious he went to Cleveland for a bigger chance at titles.
Yeah I nabbed him last week, but I also had Tristan Thompson producing nicely, so I guess this will even out.
I was thinking the same thing. I wanted Lebron to leave because I knew that was the only shot Houston would have getting Bosh. I was happy with the whole Lebron coming home narrative, always though Love didn't get enough respect, and in general feel bad for the city of Cleveland, so I started off the season rooting for them. But really, it's probably in our best interest for them to do poorly right? Not saying Houston would get Love or Lebron in an open market, but a slim chance is better than no chance at all...
I don't want love I feel he's over rated and puts up empty stats that do not impact the game to be honest.
Its kind of surprising Lebron is "hurt" for 2 weeks and all these trades start happening. Maybe Lebron is working the phones. I think they should have gone after Asik. If the pelicans don't want him maybe 11st would have been good enough. What Cavs really need is defense.
How are people so quick to blame LeBron and not Love here. Remember, Love is the one who forced a trade to leave a bad team. LeBron just went from a good team to an even better one.
How are the Cavs better then the Heat used to be? Im sure the Cavs will improve but so far the Miami teams were much better then the current Cavs. James went from a great team, to a good one. So far.
Cavs in desperation mode. Bron will prob leave this summer as will Love. Traded away Waiters and Wiggins. Then if they institute a draft pick balancing plan like they want this will be a bad franchise for at least a decade. Of course it will all have been worth it, IF they win a title this year. Big IF.
