you think so? i find american dad to be lot funnier than Family Guy now

in fact this past season episodes of family guy have to be some of the worst things i have ever seen.

 

And Fox already picked it up for a second season.

Firefly? Arrested Development? Those shows are crap. I want me some CLEVELAND.

 

This is a cleverly disguised racist thread.

 

King of the Hill is the only watchable remaining cartoon on Fox and they're getting rid of it.

Fox... always getting rid of the winners.

 

I was done two seasons ago. It was crap. I agree w/ J-Mac, they should have come out with a show on Quagmire.

Also, Cleveland's kid was better when he was doing the hyperactive "I'm Tiger Woods" bit.

 

Man, I think most folks on here knew it was a mistake when it was announced.

Fox are just marvelous.

 

Damnit. Even an animated comedy version of the Cleveland Browns sucks. FML.

 

I enjoy American Dad more than Family Guy, but overall neither is really good or anything. The last time I remember really laughing my ass off at Family Guy was when Peter became a pirate and they used cars instead of ships.

I'm just glad Futurama is coming back.

 

Its all about South Park. Family Guy sucks stop watching that piece of trash.

So we got American Dad, KotH, Futurama and South Park love...all we need is the Simpsons and the endless debate will continue.

Every single time one of these shows is brought up, it becomes a pissing contest. It's kind of funny.

And for the record...American Dad has gotten better but is still rather weak, KotH has run its course, South Park has generally reduced itself to gross out humor and the Simpsons is a shell of it's former self. I haven't caught up with new episodes of Family Guy as much as I'd like but it's still watchable and time will tell if Futurama continues it's greatness.

And now back to the topic...a spinoff for Cleveland definitely seems like a bad idea. I'd take a show focused on Quagmire or Joe any day.

 

I vehemently disagree. You can make a case that South Park in the earlier part of the decade had gone stale but they came back strong about 4 or 5 seasons ago and it's been for the most part solid episodes. Family Guy over the past 2 seasons hasn't even been on the same level as South Park.

 

Yeah, I still disagree. Don't know how you can say South Park is even worse than Family Guy. When you make an entire episode out of "The bird's the word" no other show can come close to matching crap like that. IMO South Park is still pretty good. Season 10 was fantastic and 11 and 12 were equally hilarious.
Feel free to disagree, just don't put it on the same level as the piece of turd that Family Guy became over the past two seasons.

 

I found that episode hilarious for some reason.

 

Cleveland show is hilarious. I only watched the first 4 minutes of it though. I'll watch the rest of it and let you know what I think. ASAP.

 

I'd say a good South Park equivalent to "The Bird's the Word" would be the Britney Spears episode.

 

This isn't going to work at all. I thought the bear was funny, and that's it.
