I think the Lakers were trying. They were still shooting 3 pointers toward the end. They just needed 2 more points to double up the score.

So what was the largest margin the Lakers had in this game? 60+? Wow

Man, same team that won 61 and 66 games the last couple seasons.

    Clearly they miss Mike Brown.

Ok...the fact that you put "curse him" in quotes shows that it's silly and not worth such a childish response. And I say he's an idiot because God does not give a hoot about basketball. It's not karma, the Cavs just suck.

man lebron must think: now people must know what kind of crappy role players i had to play with.

you don't like to throw role players under the bus. but when they suck balls, well, you have to.

mo williams is a disgrace of a 2nd option. a disgrace.

Shaq, Big Z, Gibson, Varejao, D. West, and A. Parker are all people that were on the team last year that didn't play tonight. Take 7 players, including Hakeem and 2 other starters, away from the 93-94 championship Rockets team and insert some scrubs and they would probably get blown out pretty bad by the current Lakers.

well, they have a couple of their main guys injured and they lost shaq and Big Z as well. Why is it everyone keep saying its just LBJ that left? (not saying LBJ is a bad player, but come on, they lost more that just 1 player).

But this is just sad, the lakers should of let them score a little bit.

i'm sorry, NONE of the players you mentioned are in the top 3 players from last year, which were lebron, mo will, and jamison.

and you put lebron on the cavs team right now, they'd be a top 3-4 team in the east EASY.

look, it's not just this game. the cavs have SUCKED this entire year.

for many to call mo williams an all-star or the 2nd best player on the team is a disgrace. that guy is at best a 5th option or a 6th man on a great team. he was lebron's sidekick. can you believe that?

You say that as if the top 3 players on the Cavs last yr were leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. They had a bunch of solid players that made up the team. Who were the 2nd best players on the Rockets championship team? Otis? Kenny? Vernon? Horry? Cassell? There was no clear number 2 or 3. You could make the argument for Horry and Otis but there wasn't much that separated them from Kenny and Vernon. It was a team made up of players that complimented Hakeem but weren't that great on their own. When a team built like that loses a bunch of their pieces it hurts.

    55 point loss!

    4 from the NBA record.

Contract the Cavs and give the Rockets Anderson Varejao

you know miami let lebron have his 2-4 minutes with scrubs at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarter to simulate the cavs' offense right? the heat are +80 in those instances.

it doesn't matter who plays with lebron really. you put lebron alone on that team and you can put whoever around him and they'll win regular season games (i say that b/c the playoffs are a different beast as we have seen).

cleveland's destruction simply continues to show how much of a one-man show the cavs had been the past few years. it was truly all lebron.

They'll probably the worst season-to-season drop in the number of wins in league history.
