I think far less trafficking goes on than drug use.

 

A lot of them are large landowners in third-world countries where they have a comparative advantage in agriculture. Locally they're ethnic gangs that will continue to market a lucrative but morally stigmatized products that banks don't easily finance: like p*rn production or strip clubs. As with those legal industries, it will just be called money laundering.
