We should have booted Davis a long time ago. His playcalling is always questionable. I hope Texas is saving their weapons to unload on OU. Davis and Mack are very good friends. I think he has been on Mack's staff since his days at Tulane. Simply, Davis is not going anywhere. I would be shocked to see Mack fire Davis if another major offensive collapse occurs. Mack would probably want to fire himself before Davis...he is so loyal to his assistants. The offense has not been sharp. No one can blame just one player however they can blame coaches - the OC or the head coach who are in charge.
