It happens in baseball all the time, especially when the home team gets a bottom 9th base hit with a runner on third. Most of the time they don't bother to make a play. It's not quite the same, but it's pretty close.

    Bad form, Lebron...

This isn't really news.. it's just LeBlowJob being unprofessional. All players slip once in a while..

Now if he DANCED and moonwalked off the court, that would be a different story

The discussion isn't about the practicality of his walking off the court. Lebron's act of walking off is being discussed because it's disrespectful, immature, and unprofessional.

If my memory hasn't failed me, I recall something realting to the new ball. I don't see the connection, can anyone elaborate?

its clevelands fault to begin with...he was getting boo'd the during stretches of the game by his own home crowd... he plays his heart out for that city

i wouldnt be surprised if he bolted for a bigger market later on
what else does that city even have...

Dude ate burritos before the game.

    He needed to go Baaaaaad!!!!!

Him leaving early is better than him staining those nice looking Cavaliers court.

i agree, he's a bit of an ass if he did that...

i wonder why the two teams don't shake hands and stuff after the game, rather than just run off the court at the buzzer? Or even hang around for a bit and acknowledge the crowd? after all it's just a game... if nothing else it would set kids an example of good sportsmanship...

football games end all the time with one team kneeling the ball to run the clock out and, except for the coaches, most of each team starts walking off the field at that point. all the cavs were going to do was stand with their hands on their hips watching the ball be dribbled out.

yeah, it was a little petulant. big whoop, life will go on. people sometimes do petulant things when they are frustrated. this is a really small thing to worry about. he'll be back out on the court the next day busting his butt to get a win.

and saying it reminds you of the pippen incident is like your car skidding slightly after hitting a patch of ice and saying it reminds you of the titanic sinking and killing 1500 people after hitting an iceberg.

who wouldnt be pissed off about losing at home to the Hawks after not long after beating the Spurs on their floor??

hey, half the crowd or more wouldve been at least half way to the exit at that point, why cant LeBron exit stage left? :)

This is BS news where shills report for the sake of reporting. I can imagine some douche like Steve Kerr bringing it up after a playoff exit by the Cavs while questioning Bron's "leadership".

    Typical sports hype

Yeah, I just saw this on SportsCenter last night -- people are making too much out of a whole lot of nothing.

What the media DIDN'T show was LeBron walking away in tears..

The man is just upset about a loss. Let him be upset. At least he cares about winning. If he wants to run off crying, it's his thing. Have sympathy, leave him alone :D
