I just saw the TIVOed Game 2 against the Spurs.

    A. Why in hell did they choose the SPUIRS TV coverage?

    B. Why was there SPURS TV coverage for the Western Conference Finals? I remembered watching this on NBC with Walton and Snapper as the commentators.

    C. Hakeem was so quick, when will Yao learn how to spin like that?

    D. Shawn Elliott made Robert Horry look like the second comming of George Gervin. Horry had 3 "FINGA ROWLs" layups and it seemed about 30 three pointers in that game.

    E. Look how the Rockets were passing the ball and not turning it over. It was like a .... MACHINE

Anybody record the Rox-Spurs, and if so, do you think we could make a torrent of it?

IIRC, this game was not on national network TV (might have been on cable, but I remember watching Bill & Calvin on Channel 20.

I think the way it worked back then was that the first four games, if weeknight games, of the conference finals were on local TV and/or TNT, and on NBC if weekend games. Games 5-7 were always on NBC.

They didn't replay it, but the fake was in there. I think the PBP guy missed it while the color guy was trying to pick his jaw up off the floor. Hehe.
