NFL2K5 was consider by most critics the best football ever made in terms of realistic game play. There are aspects that it still out performs Madden nearly a decade later.

You would've gotten a decent check... they were paying out $20/per for PS2 gen games and $6/per for PS3/xbox gen.
I thought that the lawsuit had something to do with using famous former players' (such as Aaron Hernandez) image in the game. Can't say definitively.
