The problem is that they are tired of being outnumbered 8-1 and being mauled with all of these "facts" from websites friendly to your ideology. When we find damning info that is from right wing websites, it is illegitimate, but when you do the same from left-wing sites, it's gospel? At least be intellectually honest.

Having the locals do the work of capturing the dictator, in part thanks to our involvement sounds about as ideal as it comes. The fact that we suffered no casualties is ideal even if it means we bombed from another continent. It's ashame if expensive munitions are lost, but it seems like loosing those munitions didn't comprimise the lives of our troops on the ground. The end result is that we didn't lose any lives, and the dictator we after was taken into custody. That sounds like a successful campaign, and in some ways a big contrast to the two we've been in under our current military.
The republicans will be equally tired when they are outnumbered 8-1 come November 2004 and once again "mauled" by the Democrats when the White House is taken back from the neo-con bumpkins.
