Im all up for taking a collection for Bacqui. Its quite obvious he needs something to love on ie. Dog, cat, antfarm, teddy bear, something he can love on. The dude obviously doesn't know basketball and didn't watch Clarence play for us last year. This whole ranting of our players just for the sake of venting is embarrassing to see as a Houston Rocket fan. Every fan from other cities that watch this board see this unnecessary girlie man ranting and can no doubt see what a bunch of whiners some of these posters can be. Men with balls don't whine

I'm down with the Spoon. The guy plays hard every time he's on the floor. I think he was a good choice for this team. Look at our power forwards we've had. Griff who well just quit on us and then Mo who doesn't like to play much d or rebound. Both these guys are young and JVG brought in Spoon to show those punks up. He is an example of what they should become. A rebounder and smart team player.

Spoon was just the result of making the best of a bad situation. He's no difference maker in the log run but he's not a detriment to success the way Moochie had become.

Don't blame the contract on Spoon. Spoon was productive in limited minutes last year, and gave his all. He was effective at the mid-range jumper, rebounded well, and played smart (if not always effectively) on D.

He's the toughest PF we have and it's always nice to have at least 1. Besides, I don't think CD is getting calls for Spoon so we might as well make the best of it. Just think - we could have Amaechi and Moochie.

Baqui99'sd thread here is starting to remind me of Tinman's thread regarding Juwan Howard after the Tmac deal was done.

What's with the thread-starting-repeated-bashing-by-one-poster-of-a-rocket. First we have Tinman's personal crusade against Howard, and now we got Banqui against Spoon. Seriously did these players go to your restaurant/cab/whatever and stiff you on a tip or something.

Damn Baqui. What did Clarence do to you? I agree that he is not worthy of his contract, but he's a much better deal than the guy we traded for him.

That's just wrong, man. I'll be the first one to say that Baqui99 is an idiot. Anyone that uses pictures to do his talking can't be very bright. Maybe bored, but not bright. However, bringing someone's mother into it is uncalled for. Unless of course you know Baqui99. Then that's a totally different story.
