Byproduct of decades of deliberate housing segregation and mismanagement of the most commercially and technologically dynamic industry ever. How the IT, alternative energy, shipping, advertising and aerospace industries weren't founded all in the hometown of mass production, motorized transport and the modern corporation is just baffling.
So will it turn into an oily swamp, or what? Is the EPA going to make sure it dissolves without doing too much damage to the environment? Golly, I hope so.
