Kinda like Two Pesos & Taco Cabana wars. I defy any Houstonian to say they preferred Taco Cabana.

went to the meyerland location today, it was bare, but snagged a wireless Guitar Hero Les Paul guitar for $12.99 out the door with plenty available, along with the wired Xplorer guitar for 360

if anybody is looking into getting a one of those external mini HDs (200/320/500), they have PLENTY of them at 50% at the San Felipe location, i was thinking about going back tomorrow hoping they go down some more, but using my trusty Andriod price scan app, the prices are the same as you'll find the lowest deal on the net, around $65 for the 200gb, $115 for the 500gb.

Circuit City being liked over Best Buy? Eesh.

Not that Best Buy is great...

But at least their prices are comparable to what they SHOULD cost, retailwise anyway.

CC's stuff has always been overpriced. They're normally last to drop prices on anything. Sales seem to be off the ORIGINAL retail price (299 for some wireless headphones, which are currently at a MSRP of 160, but CC is still going by 299, so 60% off of 299 = 120. Hardly a huge discount like they make it seem.

i was at the san felipe one yesterday and saw all of the HDs too.

i then went to microcenter and they had different brands of the same capacity HD for cheaper.

CC had a 500 GB HD for $115. Microcenter had the same capacity for $99.

No wonder that CC still has so many in stock.

It looks like the B&M stores will be reopened, also.

Some people have reported the B&M are undergoing renovation without the signs being changed or new ownership.
