Same here. I LOVED the 2nd one. But Raimi's trilogy did miss out on two huge parts of the Spider-man comics/mythos, the first being Spider-man's non-stop smart mouth/quips when fighting criminals, the 2nd being the spirit of the early runs about a bunch of young people hanging out and going through life, and one of them happens to be Spider-Man. The first omission made the contrast between Pete as himself and as Spider-Man less striking, the second made him look like some sad loner with one friend and an aunt. This time around I want more of the Gwen, Harry, Flash, Liz, Sally, MJ, Glory, Randy, Felicia, Pete, etc ensemble. It's just more fun (and totally impractical in a 2 hour movie, I know).
I agree with you...but that's not the reason behind the Spiderman reboot...the reason for Spiderman is because it's a gigantic cash cow that Sony wants rolling.
and she has a nice butt but hmmm i'd have to disagree and say emma stone is a hotter tho.. but i never met her so Kirsten still wins in my book.
Sad they didn't do a better job with one of the best comic book villians of all time: Maybe they will do a better job eventually with:
Kirsten Dunst has never been hot. She was cute in Interview With the Vampire and then grew into the trailer park face that she is today. (no offense to any trailer park trash) Tobey Maguire was a bad choice as well. That part should have gone to Topher Grace.
New trailer #3. Looks like a lot of action <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/FpKPiHYJc54" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm not gonna lie. I'm still recovering form how bad part 3 was, can never get too excited for Spiderman anymore.
I'm going to watch this movie. But how can they say in the trailer: "the UNTOLD story begins"??? this story has been told many times before. Do they just randomly chosen one-liners in these trailers?
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1yy62Vds8-4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The best scene in all the Spiderman movies combined was in part 3... They were ALL predicatble boring, especially for the man that made Evil Dead 2...
